Psyber-eagle - treated as shooting attack
D6 attacks

"I've been expecting you." - If an enemy unit arrives from reserve within 12" and within his line of sight, Coteaz and his unit can immediately make an out-of-sequence shooting attack against it. There is no limit on how many times the ability can be used in a turn.

See where this is going? D6 attacks multiplied by the number of Deep Striking/Outflanking units arriving within 12" and in LOS could be funny, hehe. Unlikely but funny.

I don't think this is OP, but I do think it's kinda funny from an RP perspective to imagine a mechanical bird zipping back and forth like a pinball between different deep-striking/outflanking units in the same enemy movement phase. For the record I think Coteaz + Henchmen + Assassins is the coolest part of C:GK.

So, how about it, has anyone gotten an insane amount of use out of the "I've been expecting you" rule? I'm guessing not a whole lot, since most people would be aware of the rule.

When I take Coteaz (which is most of my games in the last few months) none of my opponents DS units within range or come in from reserves close enough (besides, coteaz is often bunkered down in the middle of my deployment zone stopping the weapon servitors from going "which ones are ours?"

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Best bet for maximizing this is by taking coteaz along with some GKSS or some interceptors, saturating the field with warpquake, except for a nice big hole next to coteaz, and play exclusively against chaos daemons.
