Hello, Dakka!

I'm not that new, I've been posting for a while now, but I noticed my first introduction wasn't much of an intro at all! So I've decided to post one that's slightly more intro-ey, introesque, introtacular...however you want to put it

I started out life as a fire warrior, at the age of 9, but got very impatient and ruined them...a whole battleforce painted vomit, black and red didn't turn out so well I didn't get
anything new for a while before my school set up a gaming club, which is where I got into Necrons. The teacher running it lent me his codex, and I was sucked in. Half a battleforce and some chainmail later, I'd already turned my gaze to a new horizon: The Lord of the Rings. I was 11 by then, and having not learned from my previous mistakes, I bought a shedload of rohan figures from eBay, and got stuck in...for a while. I got bored (again) and went after several armies, mainly Easterlings, but also Uruk hai, Gondor and Mordor, before hitting WHFB. The IoB set was fresh off the press, and I got my hands on a copy for £30, so I was chuffed I gave the High Elves to my special lady-friend at the time, and kept the Skaven for my self...

Built, basecoated but otherwised untouched for almost a year, those Skaven are on their way to the U.S of A in return for my new found love, Orks.

Orks. Are. Awesome.

I have a small force assembled, with some bulk on the way, so lets see how long the WAAAGH! fever will last
