The board itself is a work in progress. Hope to have it done mid November. Here are my Vendettas, this is my first attempt at basing something other then just sand and a wash.

All three together.


Bike lane, I know the lamp needs a bit more work.



Some rubble with some IG equipment scattered around.



Corner with sign, I really should just make it a stop sign, but i fear painting writing. Theres also a small propaganda device attached to the building.

I love the details on the base. Especially the bike lane

i love them, although i am not a fan of the brick wall its too blue imo

why are there no pilots?

Pilots were forgotten about, guess i should dig those out of the bitz bag and finish those off. The blue buildings are because my army has that same blue as their main color scheme. I could repaint the brick something else.

Hmmm I really like the bike lane, but I'm wondering if they would still cycle around in the 41st millenium 'imagines a marine cycling on a penny fathing' But yeah, I really like the colour scheme

The asphalt was the easiest part. (if the base got some paint on it, paint it black) White glue brushed smooth, sand (leave to dry for a while), and a black wash.

Dang those things are clean! I love those bases, very nice. Just one question, where are the crew? Haha.

They look great, as other have already said, major points for the cycle lane. An extra point if you put a crushed bike and a big blood smear on there as well.

I do have the inured IG model from the Black Crusade expansion (I believe thats when it was released). I could put him on there with a messed up bike.

A grav bike would be 40k ish

Here is the WIP on the display board. Painted the outside of the buildings blue, thinking that it would give a valid reason for the paint scheme on the vehicles and the troops armor. Will probably repaint the bunker.
The bases for the models will have areas where they can easily be placed, but they wont be part of the perminent terrain. So when the display board is empty it will still look decent, and I can use it for various army lists.
