Hi there :V

I was just interested to discuss TV shows and series that people like and follow quite regularly. Or maybe shows that you have watched in the past that you would recommend to others.

Shows I have watched in the past and recommend: Spaced (with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost), Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Still Game, Black Books, Scrubs, Mongrels

Shows I am still following: Doctor who (2005+ series), Dexter... uhhmm, not much else at the moment.

I prefer watching shows over films most of the time, especially those that have an arching plot, because I grow closer to the characters than in a movie that's just over 90 minutes... I seem to favour british drama/comedy most of the time (apart from Dexter, that's show blows my mind), so if anyone has other great non-british shows for me to watch, please say

Currently I'm followed Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

As for shows I followed in the past... well, that's a loooooooooong list.

I was actually looking into watching The Walking Dead.. someone else recommended that to me, is it any good?

As for MLP... I suppose it has some nice animation and everything, but the story doesn't really grasp me (still a bit too much for children), though I can see why people like it

The Walking Dead and Mythbusters. Have not missed a single episode of either.

Walking Dead, so amazing I've even gotten my mother to sit down with me every Sunday night to watch it at 9. She even watched it last season when it didn't come on til 10, a full 4-3 hours after she is normally asleep!

I've only ever followed Lost for abit, ended up just waiting til it all came out onto DVD to watch it and, as soon as a similar thing happens, I will be watching A Game of Thrones. Excellent series of books, high hopes for the show

Well, I keep forgetting to watch the new seasons of Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Ditto MLP:FiM. I saw the first episode of American Horror Story... and then forgot to keep watching.

I'll probably get caught up on them at some point.

Right now I pretty much only regularly watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Archer, though the new season of Archer hasn't started yet.


I am looking forward to the return of Arrested Development. I never watched it while it was on, but I have all the DVDs. I've been asking myself one question: why the HELL didn't I watch it sooner!?

Nope, it just kinda ended...they were working for a movie to finish the plot, but it never happened

That's a shame, it's dissapointing when a show leaves you hanging.. but I suppose I could deal with it (it does allow for imagining how -you- would like the story to end, hehe )

At the moment, nothing. Haven't seen anything on TV that I really care about, to be honest. I kinda keep up with Mythbusters, but with all the several-month-long gaps between chunks of episodes, I've kind of stopped keeping up. I'm a bit spoiled by being able to watch all the first 8 years or so in a continuous link, honestly.

A few shows I kept up with in the past:

Heroes (So sad it ended on a cliffhanger like it did )

Mythbusters (The first like 6 seasons, I actually did keep up with and watch every week it was on)

And...that's all I can think of. I don't watch much television. Any TV I do watch, I watch via Netflix for the convenience of having every episode in a row.

Yeah I know. I love catching up on shows I have never watched though.. gives me SO much material to watch WITHOUT having to wait for next weeks ep. haha !! That was the case with Dr. Who for me, 5 seasons of continuous doctory goodness.

Also Death Note, totally forgot I watched that show.. only anime I ever enjoyed, it's amazing!

Something else recommended: Penn & Teller's bs! (that word might get cesored, but it says BS...) funny show, great topics.
