My attempt at Sanguinius
This is my attempt at the primarch Sanguinius, let me know if the rules seem to fit.

Sanguinius - 450

WS BS S T W I A LD SV
8 6 6 5 5 6 5 10 2+/4++

Wargear

Golden Armour of Baal, Spear of Telesto, Blade Encarmine, Angelic Wings.

Angelic Wings - These are the wings of Sanguinius, he counts as being equiped with a jump pack. Sanguinius never is obligated to make dangerous terrain tests because of leaving or entering terrain.

Blade Encarmine - This counts as a force weapon that adds +2 to strength.

Spear of Telesto - This was given to Sanguinius by the Emperor of Mankind. It projects a blast of energy which vaporises any in its path. It counts as a singing spear with an ap of 1

Descent of Angels (x2) - Sanguinius and any squad he accompanies do not scatter when they deepstrike

Might of Heroes, Blood Boil, Smite, Shackle Soul, Fear of Darkness.

Independent Character

Primarch - Eternal Warrior, Preferred Enemy, Furious Charge, Acute Senses.

Inspiring Presence - All Blood Angels units that can draw line of sight to Sanguinius have the stubborn USR.

Sanguius may cast 3 powers a turn, only one of which may be a shooting attack.

Foresight - Sanguius may reroll the dice for first turn or siezing the initiative, whichever you choose.

Pre-Heresy - Blood Angels in an army which includes Sanguinius is not subject Red Thirst tests, and Black Rage is ignored, however, if Sanguinius is killed during the battle, all units immediately take the required test for red thirst, and black rage is used as normal.

I have a bit of an issue with the pre-heresy thing. Some of their units are far better while he is alive, and then once he dies, all the other units get a massive boost?
Maybe just have them roll for red thirst instead of automatically getting it on his death?

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

STr and T 5?uld have the profile of Mephiston at least, as well as an invulnerabl;e. I am thionking a 3++ from Holy Angelic Armouyr ior something.

Because the rules for Singing Sperars are Eldar, you will need to post those rules for the people who don't know it. Also, instead of saying Descent of Angels (X2), why not just give him Dante's Tactical Presicion?

I didn't have the codex at the moment, so I wasn't sure of Dante's rules name, thanks for the mention, also, Sangy is supposed to be a super tough person, but more skilled..

Str 5 is a bit low. My opion, but others may disagree.

No IC rule, No Eternal Warrior Rule, Not Fearless, No hood, and for 450 points?

Seems over costed, and under powered. I do thank you for not making him the Uberest thing in the universe, but for those points, I would not field him.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.

Hmm. Didbn't notice that to start with.

He does have the possibilty of getting Fearless through the Red Thirst.

No hood. He isn't a Libby, so i don't see why he should have one.

No EW and No IC are hopefully mistakes. that should be fixed.

He has a force weapon, and can cast 3 Powers a turn. What else is needed to be considered a Libby, or at least needed to carry a hood. And he does not have the Red Thirst, as long as he is on the board, no one has it.

Added IC and Primarch rule which I forgot when editing the first time, Deadshot, S6 isn't that good, but when he charges he has S9 with his Relic Blade and Furious charge, as well as I7

No, i forgot about his Relic Blade. And he doesn't have S9 with hias Relic on the charge. the Relic Blade doesn't add +2 Str. it strikes at a specific str of 6. Still T 5 is a bit wimpy for an awesome primarch, especially one as awesome as him.

@jbunny

Many MEQ psykers don't carry hoods. Yes I eman almost the entire GK codex, but you don't see every Justicar and Terminator up[wards with a hood. Mat Ward isn't THAT bad.

I could up him to T6, but remember that is a MC level of tough, and Sanguinius wasn't known for being resilient..

I suppose now he has EW, so isn't going to die while sucking a Demolisher shell.
