Raging Heroes has a cyberwolf for not using with Space Wolves. The concept sketch has been up for a couple of days, but they have the first digital proof:

(via www.tabletopgamingnews.com)

They mention it hasn't been posed yet, this is still WIP to work on the details. They expect to sell them in three poses for some variety.

It's pretty interesting. It's just a bit over-the-top, touching on cartoonish (ala Warcraft) but I'm still excited about seeing the posed models.

It's a bit OTT (the wrong way) for 40k. Maybe more at home in something like Malifaux?

Yeah... it looks too intelligent, like it shouldn't suffer a rider. The muscles are more influenced by comics than nature.

I'm still confident the final product will be great, because I'm a huge fan of their Manticore which proves they can do great beasts, this isn't the final design, and they are great for listening to feedback.

edit;

Just realized what it reminds me of; Wiley E. Coyote as re-imagined by Tod McFarlane.

It's the head that really needs changing.
Its smiling and cartoony-features on the head really hurt the entire model.

Nailed it. Ah well, there are already many good options for this.

I don't know. I dig it more than just about any of the other not-Thunderwolves out there in internet-land.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I can foresee my shop getting these in by the dozens when they come out.

RIght now, I can see it as more of a Juggernaut proxy than a Thunderwolf. Just doesn't look like it fits in with the whole Norse feel of the Space Wolves.
Looks more evil and chaotic with that head.

The head is kinda odd, but I don't see this as a Thunderwolf mount...

Isn't it hard (near impossible!) to be over the top in 40K?

I like this one - Acme sponsored or not!

I see what you did there, you're a wiley one!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

I would use these for Chaos mounts, but not Space Wolves.

I feel like SW mounts should have fewer cybernetics, more fur, and the cyber-parts should be in a different style. More brass rod and guitar wire, less rivets, spikes and sharp edges.

hehe, thanks. That's 'cause I don't paint anymore.

I was building trikes to rep Thunderwolves, and was sort of happy with the results, but just couldn't muster up any enthusiasm for painting them. That was last winter, and I haven't touched them since. I started a Dark Elf army in the spring, but ran out of steam on that too. That's actually why I'm interested in these cyberwolves; they might be fun because they're so over-the-top. It would be nice to finish the army off and be done with them.

It's a cool sculpt, but I wouldn't consider it for 40K. Far too cartoony... Not that 40K isn't cartoony, but it's the difference between, say, the style of Star Wars figures based on the movies, and Star Wars figures based on the Clone Wars cartoon. Both cool, but they just don't go together.

That's not to say that I wouldn't be interested in picking one up... just that it probably wouldn't make it onto a gaming table.

Wow, amazing looking...put it in a more dynamic pose, say like a bit squatted and about to pounce, and it will be crazy awesome.
