It is said in First Heretic that each Primarch is an aspect of the Emperor so far what I have is

Lion: His people/oratory skills
II: N/A
Fulgrim: His perfection
Perturabo:
Khan:
Russ: His primal instincts/Drinking skill
Dorn: His looks
Kurze:
Sanguinius: Everything good about him
Manus: His strength
XI: N/A
Angron: Impossible to tell because of that whole lobotomy buisness
Guilliman: Tactical skill
Mortarion: His endurance
Magnus: His psychic power
Horus:
Lorgar: His loyalty
Vulkan: His strength left over by Manus
Corax:
Alpharius/Omegon: His decit

Anyone who can fill in the blanks, your help is very much apreciated

The Lion: Battlefield commander. Terrible people person.
Fulgrim: Management. His home planet was dying when he arrived, but he had it productive and flourishing again by the Emperor's arrival.
Pertuabo: Siege warfare.
Khan: Blitz warfare.
Russ: Possibly meant to be the approachable one.
Dorn: Defences. Rivalry with Pertuabo because of it.
Kurze: Propaganda maybe? Became terror tactics afterwards anyway.
Sanguinius: Godliness.
Manus: Craftmanship, strength.
Angron: Combat, honour, power? Hard to say.
Guilliman: Organisation.
Mortarion: Endurance.
Magnus: Psychic power.
Horus: Leadership.
Lorgar: Oratory skills, loyalty.
Vulkan: Strangth. Pyromania.
Corax: Other psychic powers, maybe.
Alpharius/Omegon: Tactics, espionage.

It's hard to say what the Emperor programmed in and what they learned from their home planet, but that's my take on it.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

I thought Vulkan was more Craftsmanship and strength and Manus was more Strength and Stronger Strength

I'm not sure, but Manus was a good craftsman as well.

I think the implication was that they are each a facet of his PERSONALITY. And since the Emperor is created from all humanity this makes sense. But the things you're looking for are personal qualities like Loyalty, Judgement, Stoicism, Protectiveness, Charisma. Not skills like 'blitz warfare' or 'espoinage'.

I think the implication was that Lorgar inherited his humanity. Hence why he is one of the most approachable, charismatic, diplomatic Primarchs.

You could potentially say that Gulliman is his sense of order, and Khan his impetousness. It makes more sense to say that Alpharius relects his 'questioning & creativity', which then explains why his legion use discuss the philosophy of every conventional theory to see if it can be turned round, which then RESULTS in espionage tactics, rather than saying Alpharuis reflects his 'sense of espionage tactics'.

Approachable.. charismatic and diplomat? I think you've got Horus mixed up with Lorgar now.

No one liked Lorgar.

Ah, I thought it was their role. Well,
Lion=Reason. Cold, with no regard for emotion.
Fulgrim=Insecurity.
Pertuabo=Logic.
Khan=Quick thinking.
Russ=Freedom.
Dorn=Determination.
Kurze=Cynicism.
Sanguinius=Inspiration.
Manus=Loyalty.
Angron=Honour.
Guilliman=Order.
Mortarion=Nostalgia. He never really lets go of his home world.
Magnus=Pride.
Horus=Leadership.
Lorgar=Humanity.
Vulkan=?
Corax=Accountability. He leaves his legion after seeing what he has done to it.
Alpharius/Omegon=Innovation.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

Horus needs to go down with ambition beside his name as well as leadership, and I agree with Soladrin on the stoicism. Otherwise I agree!

He successfully talked down a pissed off Leman Russ from getting his ass kicked by Magnus that one time.

That doesn't mean they liked him

And the fact is, Horus' best quality has often been stated as being extremely Charismatic.

He did have an implant that caused his anger, so I figured the martial pride and honour would've played a bigger part in his psyche without it. And of course, he's angry at the Emperor for denying him an honourable death.

I've always thought that Horus was supposed to just be charismatic, he's only the supposed most like daddy because he found him youngest, so he had more time to learn.
Guilliman was always organisation I've always thought. He manages to get 8 systems under his control, conquers half a planet at age ten without a full scale war. So yeah, I'd say he's more of a politician or diplomat, he's got his head screwed on and can keep his calm, after the Heresy he was the one to say "Guys, chill, I got this!"
As for Fulgrim, I think he's the stubbornness, the refusal to quit and always striving to be better. He finds out that his legion is decimated before it's truly began, and he just decides to not let it stop him, to become the best.
But that's all for now, I gotta go burn an effigy of Guy Fawkes.

Horus had a solar system under his control or something by the time the Emperor found him IIRC

I'm pretty sure the same can be said of Guilliman (I'm pretty sure he was the lord of Ultramar anyway).

Dorn seems to be the guy who got the must gak flung his way though.

First konrad beats him to inches of his life. Then he's to late to help fight Horus. Then he gets trolled by Perturabo.

You could say the same of the Space Wolves and the Salamanders (I think it was them, correct me if Im wrong), who sided with Dorn on opposing Guilliman's reformations.

Oh wait, Guilliman almost caused a second heresy when decided to impose a buncha new rules and regulations on all his brother Primarchs and their Legions-turned-Chapters. And technically, his side fired the first shot. What a dick. Say what you will about his reformations having saved the Imperium, but he sure had a lot of balls doing that when he was the one late to the party (Battle for Terra).
