This is a new unit of SM i thought i would make:
Space marine thugs
Type:infantry
WS:5
BS:4
S:5
T:5
Ld:8
Sv: 4+
Pts per model: 20pts
Weapons: bolter/bolt pistol+cc weapon
Special rules:
Tank sabotage: each thug carries an explosive with him. If a thug is within 2" of a tank he can plant the explosives: roll a d6: 1-3 no effect 4-5 glancing hit
6 penetrating hit
Kill crazy: at the start of every player's turn roll a d6 2+: act as normal 1: charge at a nearest unit whether it is a friend or foe

I agree, Space Marines are the last people I would think as thugs in 40k. maybe Chaos space marines. But Imperial Guard come to mind first.

Yeah the thugs should be IG or Chaos cuz SM are not really thug-like army

Surely these guys would be better as an orc unit?

Not to rain on anyone's creativity, but basicaly you have stated a upgraded Ogryn Bonehead, S 5 T 5 is equal to a Ork warboss, and then the whole question of what exactly does this unit fufill in its OB.

Just gets some Ogryns and call them thugs, I am sure they would appreciate the compliment.

Also models first then rules, I find I do alot better at making something interesting after first building it, then stat-ing it.
