Fluff:

A tooflord is an insanely rich ork who's warband consists of purely freebooters. Tooflords sort of act as freebooters themselves though hiring one would cost a kingdoms worth of teeth as tooflords can have freebooter warbands the size of small WAAAGH!s. Of course where freebooters, deathskulls and the like get together, there would always be short term loyalties. Freebooter mobs come and go so much a toothlord's power can vary from year to year, or even month to month from that of a warboss to a Warlord.

Grand Tooflord Snotroc da Airy': Snotroc is called da Airy' to account for his large collection of hair squigs, on the battlefield he has been known to release these squigs upon his enemy. Snotroc has been an influential force behind many an ork throne, such as the current Arch Arsonist Snagrod, who was said that if it wren't dor Snotroc Snagrod probably would not have came to power. Under his service Snotroc also met one of his favourite big meks: Squigspittle Da Pyromaniak who commonly rides into battle on his looted junka that he has fixed a large flamethrower on the top of. Although his latest client is the famous Grog and his dakka WAAAGH!.

Snotroc's darkest hour was on a battlefield in the Ultramar sector where he was almost killed by imperial artillery. The only thing that saved him from death although was one of his employees, Moruz Skabshak, an exiled mad doc who defended his corpse along his cyborg retinue from an attack from a small Grey Knight force and managed to fend themselves from the might of a Dreadknight, slaying the massive construct in the action. He gathered up what was left of Snotroc, he used his limbs and many mechanical parts to create a life support suit, grafting on his favourite shoota and his power klaw, as well as some weapons of his own. Into this piston driven monstrosity he sewed the mangled remains of Snotrocs amputated head. Although only when the Tooflord came round did Moruz's true motivation become apparent. The only ork who truely understands how the life supporting suit works, and who can keep it maintained more to the point, was the greedy mad doc, who had realised this, and plotted to take advantage of it. To this day Moruz still works for Snotroc, as Snotroc can't afford to get rid of him. And, being a rich ork, can definitely afford to keep him. And, as a result, to this date Moruz remains one of the richest freebooters under Snotroc's control. It goes to say, Snotroc is not complaining. It is great advantage to weigh twelve tons, and Moruz's Cyborg Slashas are not unwanted additions to his ranks.

Snotroc has many regular freelance employees, less permanent than Moruz or Squigspittle. Here are some of the most commonly seen.

Da Terminatas: A group of nobs who's initiation ritual involves killing a terminator in battle and taking his armour.

Mekuzzut da fist: An eccentric mek known for his fascination with force field technology. His favourite weapon is his Power Gauntlet.

Warpy Wurgutz: A crackpot Wierdboy who wires himself up to a capacitor to increase his power.

Da Goldtoofs: A band of very rich Snakebites. They are adept at fighting in deserts.

P&M bit:

Moruz Skabshak, mad doc.

Not his sculted top hat. This work I did a while ago, to talk, I should base him one of these days. His paint job is not amazing, but I am pleased enough with it.

Killa kans. I have nine altogether, six painted, I shall take some pics of them soon. I took some primer ready pics a while back, and a few painted ones.

Da Scrappadrills.

Da Snazkans, note I tried to do some classic killa kan rokkit launchers on them. I love a second edition look in ork vehicles.

Da Killa Klankaz, Deathskull kans.

Highlights.

Enjoy ya trip?

I might be able to get over this rock without falling?

Resoled boots.

FAlCONPUNCH!!

I will post a few more things when I get the chance. I have some Deffcoptas pretty much finished and a techno wierdboy that I had a lot of fun resculting.

One project I have been eagerly awaiting to paintify is my count as megaboss with cyborg body: Snotroc himself. What I have kit bashed so far looks frankly amazing, even if I say so myself.

Cheers all, and thanks for feedback!

I have has this skullhamma for a while. It was looking a bit shabby paint job wise, so I gave it a new lease of life. It needs rather a lot of details filling in.

And, if you remember the fan fiction, my tooflord had a bit of an accident including a shell and a top hat totting mad doc. I grafted this together from two AOBR warbosses and a load of killa kan parts.

These are still WIP, and sorry for the lighting and bad photography. I will fiddle around a bit when I have finished painting these.

The rust looks quite a bit brighter on the photo than it does in real life. Also the metal looks darker too. The rust effect was done be stippling very heavily into the recesses with very watery reds oranges and browns. Then a heavy black drybrush so the rust only appears in the recesses then a fine drybrush of chainmail just to give it weathered dark metal look.

My plan for the tank is to add some chips and highlights onto the metal then pick out all the other details and maybe add some mud or dirt or the such.

Note the fact that I highlighted the underside of the scratch and shaded the overside to make it look indented.

I had a hard time making the Termy head look bloody yet shiny at the same time.

The chains were a pain in the arse to model with, the wire pipes were easier. I'm rambling now.

I have a unit of killa kans painted and photographed, though the deffcoptas are still WIP.

Cheers all. I have an Apoc game coming up soon, I might take some pics.

Criticisms do nothing but help me improve. Thanks for any feedback.

Good night.

Prehighlighted grots, yet to be glazed. I used codex grey followed by skull white.

These are for the apocalypse battle. To do what grots do best, claim objectives. That and run scared.

Now to glazing.

Thanks, and aye they are going to be green.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Glazed grots, still WIP.

Some of the detail has gone from when I highlighted them.

Here's some HQs I have knocked up from nob parts.

Warpy Wurgutz, da techno wierdboy. I tried to sculpt some manic features on his face, as well as I giant warp distorted eye. I resculpted his hand as the fist looked a bit too much like he was holding something from when I clipped the axe from it.

Big mek Wazzuret Da Fist, and his sculpted power fist. He has an odd fascination with force field technology.

I have an apocalypse battle early tomorrow morning, I might be taking pics. See ya' whenever I can post em', if you can be bothered to find me on this forum. Good night, back to my workshop for me. I shall rule this world yet! Beuhahahaha!
