So, on the FW website it is possible to buy a Land Raider for 41GBP.
That equates to 64Au.
So, in aus, a Land Raider is 110au.
So.. Does this mean that I can't buy forgeworld because it is based in britain.
Amirite?
I'm probably preaching to the choir, but I thought I'd put it out there.
Also, Drop pods are 32au.

Yes. FW models are cheaper for me in Japan as well.
I ordered and got delivered to my door:
2 Wave Serpent Type-II complete kits
1 Falcon Type-II complete kit
2 Facton Type-II conversion kits
all for CHEAPER than I could buy 2 wave serpents and a Falcon at JP retail prices.
The only thing is you gotta wait about 1-2 weeks for delivery, but still, its definitely worth the wait.

^ sorry, you say 1-2 weeks like its a long time by air mail. [I've waited 14 weeks for a package before. I was unhappy. ]

Nah, I'm just saying it takes 1-2 weeks. No implications or connotations.
I actually received my package 1 week after I had put my order in. They even shipped it out about 2 hours after I had put my order in. I was quite surprised.

Even in Canada, a variant Land Raider for example, costs just as much as a normal Land Raider does with tax.
The retail prices for the plastic kits that they do sell, is great.

^ We get shafted on a lot of the time when it comes to prices. I still can't get over the difference between US vs Canadian retail.
A few things from FW are cheaper for us here, but not a lot. I still find feEbay to be a better source for this stuff, unfortunately.

Wait until they start putting 500% price increases and claim it as 'shipping'.

Even in the US at least one kit I know of is cheaper - the FW Whirlwind is $46, the GWS Whirlwind is $49.50.
On the other hand, free shipping on the GW version.

Unfortunately, it's a Whirlwind.

The Stone Crusher Carnifex complete kits are about $15au cheaper than buying a Carnifex kit locally. And you get all the Stone Crusher parts.

I think some countries appear to have some type of import tax or something like that. From what I've noticed, things from Australia and Japan normally cost more than in the US/UK.
