I'm starting out but have read (so far) the Rulebook and Nid Codex though I still don't entirely grasp the rules (I guess I have to play first!)
I'm trying to create a solid army but have some questions.
Gargs Vs. Stealers:
What do Gargs and Stealers excel at?
Which one can fill more roles / is more flexible?
Is a Broodlord worth it?
Is a 500-750 pt all Warrior Nid Army Feasible?
Here's from an .rtf on my desktop:
6 Tyranid Warrior w/ x2 Scything Talons (30) (180)
4 Tyranid Warrior w/ Deathspitter (35) (140)
2 Tyranid Warrior w/ Barbed Strangler (40) (80)
1 Tyranid Prime w/ Deathspitter (or Dual Bone Swords), Regeneration (95) (100) (AKA Mike, The Manager)
This was made for 500 pt.
I'm trying to think of enemy configurations and how this would fare.
I suppose it would help if I knew what other armies I will be up against; what are some armies commonly seen at 500-750 points?
I see that not too many people play Nids.
If this is the wrong forum, where does it go?
