There's one thing that everybody agree's on if all the orks united they would doom the galaxy to consant war, but will they ever unite. The biggest waggggggggggggghhhhh! was created when armegedon was attacked. Ork wasbosses used the ork gods as an inflence on their ork mobs uniting many clans and Waggggggggggghhhhhhhhs! to form a huge war force that only yarrick could stop. Any thoughts will be welcome.

The galaxy is already in a state of constant war. If the Orkz were to unite they would create a situation that is not to their preference. One unstoppable Waaagh! would eradicate the environment the Orkz thrive on, which is a state of constant war with plenty of enemies to slate their warlike ways. Unting, in my opinion, will never happen for logistical reasons, and because it wouldn't be in the Orkz best interest.

Unlikely.
Ork Warbosses don't tend to bow down to anyone, unless they are bigger, badder and greener.
You'd have to have a seriously big, seriously green, seriously bad ork to get them to all work together for very long.
Ghazzy is big, bad and green, but not enough, yet.
You also have the logistical problem of getting all the orks in the galaxy to the same place, given their haphazard method of travel.
I'd say it would have to be a galactic threat, hitting the whole galaxy at once, to have every ork fighting it.
Maybe an alien race spreading Pacifism as a lifestyle, in every system in the galaxy?
Even then they would be seperate groups, rather than a galaxy-wide ork empire under one warlord. Orks just don't do organized well..

Orks are already united in the goal to kill as many as possible. They just don't care what it is that they kill.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it. |

If the orks win and take over - its less fun as only other Orks to fight - except maybe the Tryanids or other aliens wandering in from other galaxies.
Although there is nothing to say that the Oks have not conquered other galaxies already - IIRC the probes sent out by the Imperium always here ork chatter no matter how far they go out..........

Nope, it can't happen. Part of what makes Orks so deadly, their lust for violence is war, is why they couldn't ever unit.

I don't think Orks think far enough ahead to have long term goals beyond the next fight. Orks don't care who they fight really, If they run out of enemies they will just fight eachother.
BrainDeleted wrote:The Orkz don't really desire conquest. They desire a good fight.
True but some Orks like Gazzy have cunning and ambition. They want Empires coz it shows they are the biggest and the best. If all Orks didn't desire conquest the Ork empires wouldn't exist.

Whats that system Nids are fighting the Orks in, Octavius is it?
Werent there picts recovered that showed Orks of literally monstorous size due to the instensity and scale of the fighting there. Maybe if the Orks ever triumph Gazzy will have a new challenger to his reign.

Orks have nothing to stop or allow them to conquer the universe so far besides luck. A Waargh has to roll into another to absorb it to unify the Orks, combined with the way they travel through the warp being somewhat random means they run into fights by chance.
So it is possible if one were to avoid any hard wall (like a heavily defended IoM sector).

I would say it is impossible for Orks to unite entirely as a race because they are so undisciplined that they would just imediately fall right back into the state of disorder they started in if any warboss tried. The orks just love to fight too much to allow themselves to unite. it's not in their nature.

I think the logistical problem of a galaxy wide waaagh would cause the 'united' orks to fracture.
Think of it this way, if we assume all the orks united in the biggest waaagh ever and went out to conquer the galaxy, the orks that are at the back of this endless stream of green will get fed up with being unable to take part in any action and will inevitably begin fighting amongst themselves, those in front of them, whatever. It would just take so long to mobilize that many orks that they would get bored and revert to their more fun loving ways. After all, fighting the ork next to them is more fun that waiting for a fight that they might not even get to take part in.

Nope, there are too many Orks and it's too difficult to hold them together. Even Ghazghkull's Waaagh! is only a few million according to Codex Armageddon whereas there must be quadrillions of Orks in the Galaxy.

Alas, no. As awesome as it would be to have Ghazzy sitting on the golden throne(properly looted, of course) it will never happen, for several reasons:
1)It took a massive force of will to allow Ghazzy to unite his WAAAGH!!. It is still small compared to the galactic scale.
2)It would mean that GW can only sell ork models, so their precious SM box sets will become worthless. Expect the status quo to remain.

Nope. When enough orks gather up they start to fight against each other, in quest to find out whos da biggest and 'ardest. These little fights will eventually result into civil wars and eventually separation into smaller tribes.

The Orks probably rule several other galaxies. Infact, in some of the galaxies, there are Giant Spacecraft that are made out of their Waaaah's Warboss. Those are what the 'nids are running from.

Given the timeline will never advanced, no. Given a logical reasoning of the thing, it really just comes down to the Orks or the Nids winning the most delicious chocolate and nougat galaxy around. A united Ork push could do it, but barring that the nom nom's are gonna win eventually. Let us think Necrons: well, they did have a good chance (However, I'm assuming the new codex rules them out somehow, because I haven't read it yet, so its irrellevant haha), but they "won't be back" anymore so they are out. Man (in all his different forms): lulz, nope. DE: already on the menu. Eldar: already gave up. Tau: even more lulz. Which leaves the actual contenders Chaos, Orks and Nids. Gork/Mork have a much larger population base than Chaos to fuel said desires. Nids eat the Chaos power base. Chaos Loses. So, Ork vs Nids? That ladies and gentlemen, is the prize fight at the end of the galaxy.
