so i have this 10 year old AT- AT toy that i want to purpose for friendly/ apoc games essentially its this.

since i am missing 2 of the turbo blasters i figured id use some extra battle cannons and punishers i have laying around to supplement some fire power.
im thinking AV 14/14/13 and titan equiv structure points.
i still have no idea what to use as a points cost. also it has a compartment that i can open and it is a transport so what should its capacity be?
if it works out to be a fun little exercise in converting old toys i might pick up another one.

I don't know about large blast, i'd say it should have the stats of a focused prism cannon. For IG, i'd say maybe 25 soldiers inside. For armor I would say make it 14 all around, it's got at least as much armor as a land raider, but give it a special rule treating it as AV12 in CC, as the soldiers are attacking the vulnerable legs. Then i'd say I say i'd say too much.

Well, I would say an Emperor class Battle Titan is better amrour than a Land Raider, yet it is 14/14/13.

the reason i gave it rear armor 13, is because the rear has a reactor/reflector looking thing.
i dont want to hamper its movement but should it have slow and purposeful since its like 18 inches long?

In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

i'd say power weapn. power weapons basically cut through everything, right? besides, it only scrathced the AT-AT's armour so he could chuck a grenade in, it didnt take down the walker by itself.

Man this thing is so win.
Anyway, I agree with the 2 BC, and 2 TL AC. 25 or 30 carrying capacity seems good to me.
What about a special rule like:
Max Power: Instead of normally shooting, it may fire a "maximum firepower" shot, and fires a S10, AP1, small blast shot.
I am basing that off of when the AT- AT shoots the power generator on Hoth.
Also kinda freaky, as I am watching this episode right now

Luimbering Monstrosity
The AT-AT is so clumsy and big, it may not pivot in the same turn it move. However, if it wishes to, it may move 3" and pivot roughly 30 degrees.

I know that he used a grenade to take it out, however, lightsaber+grenade was his assault (if you will), and if you use grenades to assault a vehicle, you only get 1 attack. I just combined the 2 parts of his attack into 1, and dropped the throw grenade in.

Well, if it had Emperor class titan AV, then the same number of SP, 12, should be fair. Also, seeing as how it has those shields, 9 Voids seems pretty decent.
And it will only hae to cost 1/4 of the points, because of the crap weapons compared to the Titan, so 1000pts.

Red LZRS: Can select one of 2 shooting modes:
(TL)
Focused 60" S:9 AP 2 blast
Wide 48" S:5 AP 3 Assault 3
It would have 2
I would say capacity 40, with 2 ramps on the sides av 14 13 12 with 3 structure points.
While not exactly very powerful, I think it wise for it to not ruin a whole APOC game because it's massively overpowered.

so to recap and consolidate this is what i have so far,
All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT)............................1000? points
Walker
BS-3(4) WS-3(4) I-3(4) (4 if piloted by space marines)
AV 14/14/13
Void Shields 9 (i don't know a good number but 9 was suggested)
Structure Points 12 (suggested as well)
Troop Capacity 40 models
Weapons
2 Battle cannons (with the option of vanquisher shells)
2 TL hydra equiv Auto cannons (72 inch range)
the TL auto cannons can be upgraded to turbo lasers at +40 points
Turbo Lasers have the following stats
S 9 AP 2 heavy 3 Twin linked.
Missile Launch Bays
You may replace 2 spots of troop capacity to spend 20 points and add a hell strike missile.
you may do this until there are no more troop spaces left.
now i remember somewhere in Star Wars lore that AT-AT's basically deep strike by orbital bombardment, the other way they did it in the Rogue Squadron games was to have Drop Ships land big containers. i think deep striking could add a fun dynamic to the game, imagine this bad boy popping in behind Enemy lines and dumping 40 troops onto the field.

12 structure points and 9 voids!!?? A warhound only has 3/2, much less weaponry, no transport capacity and it is 750 points.
Drop it to more resonable levrls. 3/2 like the hound perhaps? Maybe even 4/3 or 4/2.
