This has been a labour of love of mine, here is the now complete armoured division of Crimson Fists. I have no plans to paint anymore tanks as I already have about 6000K in Crimson Fists all painted. I also have that equal in Orks too
Let me know what ya think? Some guys have commented that the highlighting is too "Tron" for them, please understand that my camera REALLY picks out the colours and it is much more subdued in hand!
Any comments are appreciated! I am also trying to deliver a much better presentation in my editting and filming, so any feedback on the video itself is much appreciated.

A labour of love? Are you kidding me? Vehicles are the least favorite thing to do on my list. ^^
I have to say I love the work you did there. Conversions, paintjob and weathering are impressive. I like the tron style highlights. I do mine the same way.
I particularly love the weathering on the tanks, I'm kinda afraid to weather my tanks like that, for fear that I'll ruin a paintjob I worked so hard one.
For the record, my armored division for marines - 6 predators, 5 dreadnoughts, 2 vindicators, 4 land speeders, 3 land raiders, 4 rhinos, 3 drop pods, 1 razorback
Agreed, rather the dirt buildup is not very realistic at the scale and takes away from the effect. The chunks in the mud are a bit too big IMO and the placement is a bit 'off' - particularly the parts around the back exhaust and top tow rope.
Who's to say the dirt buildup isn't realistic for 40k. Maybe they've been driving through promethium soaked wastelands that have thick oily clumps of clay and soot. Use your imagination people the tanks look awesome
Attention all space marine bashing neckbeards: Nobody cares what you have to say, so stop trying and go cry yourself to sleep.
Thanks for the feedback, some think the dirt is ok, some don't. Painting and modelling these figs is a form of art, not everyone will like your own expression of art.
When comparing the way I mudded my tanks to WWII tanks that had gone through the mud, I really don't think I am THAT far off. But like DODCrazy said, who said this isn't realistic for 40k?
The tanks were very well painted. Despite my hatred for Space Marines I really enjoyed looking at your models.
As for the video, well.......... it was very good! Great presentation, great zooms and pans, good timing on changing of shots and views. Overall for the vid 9.5/10

I disagree. Tanks need to have dirt buildup imo. Squeeky clean tanks look plain wrong.
I also disagree, without the dirt it would look to clean (obviously) and I dont think it would look as real as this does
Automatically Appended Next Post: The only thing i would change on dirt is I think the highlight color is too bright on that lovely dark blue
