Has anyone done anything with the following conversion piece from Puppets War? I'd like to see how it fits and if it's designed for a Rhino or Chimera chassis.

Nobody has used one of these? Damn.

Given it's design and shape i'd bet it is for a rhino chassis.
It just wouldn't 'Fit' the way a chimera goes together.

Their thread in the News and Rumours forum shows it on a Rhino chassis.

Though I can see uses for it on a number of Ork vehicle conversions, etc. WOuld be a sweet basis for a Stompa belly gun perhaps as well...

Okay, it seems like it is supposed to be a SM Medusa or Bombard. Given where the gun sits, how is that thing driven around the battlefield?

This is true, but thats what makes it fit with the 40k aesthetic...all the weapons are way out of scale, especially SM and Ork stuff.


Also its not as bad if you think of it as a gun on a mobile carriage, rather than a crewed vehicle like a tank.

hahaha I was just looking at those and thinking "that looks like it'd make a neat vindicator" but I had no idea how oversized it was. That looks completely ridiculous.

Completely blew it on the scale. That could have been a very nice Vindicator piece but it's stupidly huge. A Gargant or Titan gun are really the only uses I see for it as is

With one of those some monster truck tires a rhino kit and a load of ork gubbins that will make a killer gobsmasha.

Seriously though, that gun is just not going to work, unless it has another three rhinos to carry an extra shell each.

Kinda reminds me of some design the italians made during WW2, an Assault Gun that was too small to actually fit crew and ammo, so they´d have a second vehicle for ammo, and the loaders would need to dismount to fire.

That would make a great ork convershun - one of those in front, with a line of looted wagons behind, each carrying exactly one shell

It would probably look more fitting on a bigger tank such as a Land Raider or something. Gee, the Rhino would be able to carry about two of that gun's shells!

This is definitely for Angry Marines.

You could also use it to make a Looted Wagon for your orks
