Subject: How to Protect Yourself When Dealing With Commission Services
Been reading a LOT of unfortunate circumstances regarding commission services and clients getting screwed over, so I thought I'd pop out a video giving a few little tips that might help you guys out next time.
Please be sure to leave your own experiences and tips!
Great video Ghost. I take commission here and there and these tips are good for me, too, in that I can keep my clientele happy and hopefully have good references from them.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

I like the haircut. If I wasn't old and bald I would probably have something like it. I think I did have that haircut when I was young and still had hair.

WTH is up with all these commission services where people don't use their names on their sites. I have visited 2 different Dakka advertisers today looking at painting services. Both of them have an "about me" section but does not give their real name. If doing business with someone the very first thing I want to know is their actual name.

I've just watched the video and it covers a lot of good points that anyone thinking of getting commission work done should think about. I definitely agree with the point about if a price seems too good to be true it usually is. I know that some people like to just paint a few figures in their spare time, every now and again, so can get away with not charging very much but for most services very low prices simply aren't sustainable and are an easy way to spot a scam. I much prefer my approach of being "reassuringly expensive"
I've seen quite a few threads pop up recently about services not holding up their end of the deal which really casts a negative light on the whole commission painting scene. However there are those of us out there who try our best to offer an excellent service for our clients and following the points in this video will certainly help you choose the right services to use.
I'm the owner of The WAAAGH Studios, a commission painting service. If you have any commission work you'd like doing don't hesitate to message me or check out
