I built this list just because I love minotaurs (trolls) and it has a great win rate.

So what does everyone think?

First off, 24 trolls comes out to be 1320.
I also think your list is hero heavy. I'd drop the lv.1, and make the BSB cheaper. Though, if you really want to run only trolls in your core, you don't need the BSB at all. Turn the chaos lord into a sorcerer lord on disc so you don't eat it in the magic phase.
One huge unit of trolls sounds cool, but it's not going to do well on the battlefield. It's too easy to redirect/stall the only combat effective unit you have. Plus magic will ruin your day. Think about splitting these guys into sevral units of 6, or 1 of 12 and 2 of 6.
Drop the poisoned attacks from the hounds, it's basicly worthless.
Warshrines seem out of place here. I figure the plan is to buff the super-troll unit, but I don't really think they need it. Do you have a hell cannon you could swap these for? Using the hell cannon to pound whatever unit is carrying the banner of eternal flame could be very helpful.

At first this list had a lvl 4 but he was not doing alot for me and I dislike MoT on mages. In my mind Heavens is the only good lore for trolls.

And Warshrines+ Mutan Regen means I dont fear fire

That is a lot of trolls in 1 units dayum my thoughts maybe try 2 units so that if they get uber debuffed that they dont all get the debuff.

Also poisoned attacks on hounds not worth im sure you could spend 15 points else where.

You still don't get any save againt fire, thus no mutant-regen roll.

I tried splitting up the troll star into two units and here was the problems I ran into.
1: They do not hit nearlly hard enough to deal with nasty units and get crushed by ranks.
2: They need constant babysitting, something which throgg and the BSB provide for the horde
3: Does not look as impressive on the table top

Yah I think I will drop the poison and see what I can use those points for

I wouldnt worry about fire too much since if you make 2 saves with regen you could get a 4+ ward and stubborn haha.

Well I am either toying with taking a Lvl 4 with Heavens or maybe Kohlek

Oh the consumer of suns is pretty boss when he gets to combat. I would like to see a lvl4 for the sake of magic defense and pandaemonium such a boss spell.

While ive only played a few games using a troll force, ive played alot more using kohlek.
Kinda like running a slow dragon, that hits harder.

Not a bad character by any means, you just need to be very selective over what you attack.
You will find that a multi-assault will work wonders, more so if you run a unit of Drogres too.

I can't say much for Kholek anymore as he consistently let me down ever I used him, almost never getting into combat due to some sort of warmachine or spell.

This is list is definitely much different from how I play my own trolls, which I prefer to run in units of 6 along side a unit of Dragon Ogres.

If you're going to go for a Troll Deathstar then I would say leave it at 18, and go for the unit of 18 Ogres to go with it. That seemed to be the best way to run it from what I remember. The problem with only one unit of Trolls and no unit to support it is obviously flaming. That's your entire army and its easily disposed of. Honestly I haven't played a single game where someone hasn't had flaming, so its almost discouraging to use a single unit of that size without any real backup.

I'm actually about to buy an Ogre army so I will end up using a unit of 18 to go along side the Trolls (The Ogre army was actually converted up alongside my Troll army, so it fits perfect!)

I'd say RiTides would definitely be more help for a list of this kind though, since as I said, I have yet to really run a deathstar style Troll army.

Nice nice buttler ogres are pretty fun models buttler.

Maybe run a fully kitted out daemon prince with mot and all that good stuff as your general? He can hold his own in the combat as well as being able to fly. Also third eye maye on to use the opponets lore against them.

El shagoth grande is cool for sure but then you leave yourself relatively you defended in the magic phase.

So I played a game against dark elves today
Lvl 4 Death
Dual Hydra
way to many crossbows
40 Wtich elves
Caldron
Black Guard

And I was running a Heavens level 4 instead of the choppy lord and won with a land slide victory (2000 v 160). While I agree that the troll star is iffy I was rocking the 4+ Ward and Stubborn and anything I touched died due to heavens buffs and debuffs

I just picked up 3 Dragon Ogres for this list.
Also I played against a High Elf player today and managed to steamroll his entire list besides the flaming white lions who got the privlage of fighting two warshrines and a pack of dogs most of the game.

How often does your manticore level 4 get into combat? Sounds like that's mostly 555 points of Heavens magic that flies, while the trollstar flips people over ... But maybe you're actually engaging with it? And how often does the beast itself live to the end of a game?

So I decided to play a game this evening against our DE player. Telling him what list I was taking (like a fool) and knowing he would bring his A-Game I drove out to his house. There I saw waiting for me a horde of 50 witch elves. This was not so bad as I have fought this unit with my trolls before and laughed. Then I noticed a 15 point magic banner on the unit. Fire...
So after I lost that game we palyed a second.

This time he ran my Brettonnian list. I won that game 2050 v 60

So I was just cleaning my hobby room and I found a box, and in this box was my 150 Marauders that I thought I had lost. So I was wondering what everyone thinks about putting some Flailjacks in this list (normally they would be lumberjacks but I need some faster damage in this list) and if so what can I drop to fit them in?

Anywho, I think I already told you this suggestion, but trim some points off your lord and maybe drop one of the hounds to get the flailjacks.
I almost feel like MoT is overkill on the shrines, 4+ ward is strong enough to deter cannons and is also strong enough to not really worry about combat.
I think you should run the flails in a 5x2 formation, and ram em into something with less Ini. Absolute glass cannon.

I like this one the best, especially after facing it today. It was a very weird game, so I couldn't really gauge how much magic really would have effected you. (especially since I was dwarf lol)
I dunno, we will have to run a standard game and see how it does.

So after a crushing defeat against Bretonnia I once again return to the drawing board. The 100 strong marauder unit has been cut and I think the BSB may go that way to. At this point I just want to make the list better without adding in a caster
