An odd total points- are you looking to bring it down to 1000? Or up to 1250? It feels a little over upgraded to me, I'd rather you brought it down to 1000. I'd say drop the sorcerer, for 185 I don't think he's doing enough for you. Either that or just keep bolt for some anti tank. I'd also recommend dropping moN on the csm squad, go for chaos glory and lose the plasma pistol. For 15 points he won't use it enough to earn it. Same for the bezerkers. Those points could go on a rhino for the possessed. I know this an extra model for you to get but having two will add a small amount of saturation for any anti tank your opponent will bring. All that should get you a bit closer to 1000.

Way too many upgrades as Reanimator already said.

And like mentioned as well, this isn't really a proper list. Its not at a points total, your not going to make this exact list with just the battle force as your adding loads of upgrades. And it won't be any good because you only get one rhino.

Chaos Lord doesn't need PP, Sorcerer probably doesn't need two (expensive) powers, makes him very expensive.

Possessed aren't going to do anything without a transport, they are already too expensive for what they do. MoT is a pointless upgrade, you either want MOK or MOS to take advantage or a possible assault bonus.

Wasted upgrades on the CSM, don't need MoN, or an AC, or a PP. If you want Lascannons, take Havocs. Two assault weapons is the way to go.

No PP on the Zerkers, Rhino should never have Daemonic possession, your spending 35 points (same cost as the rhino) on upgrades for the AV 11 transport.

If you could tell us what your hoping to achieve here, because all you've done is made a list with way to many upgrades and swapping 5 CSM models into either HQs, possessed or a Zerker from the battleforce. If your playing Battle force vs Battle force games then let us know please.

I'm trying to make a cheap (money wise) list that can still have a good amount of points out of it.

Unfortunately, the battleforce, while a nice start, isn't going to be that competetive without some heavy support.

I love Khorne Berserkers, but I love them even more assaulting out of a land raider.

2 of the best units in CSM, a codex that's struggling to keep up with 5e, are the Daemon Prince and Obliterators. The DP box can be found for under $20 on ebay, and oblits, used and poorly painted, can probably be snagged for around $10-12 if you're a good bargain hunter.

The real issue is that the Possessed are really inefficient points wise. I converted mine into noise marines using the emperor's children sonic weapons upgrade pack, but that was before the price hike this summer, and now it's like $22 for 5 guns, so not that financially sound...

The battleforce may not be the best choice for an inexpensive and effective chaos army - but one of the great things about CSM is the fact that you can run another space marine army as a chaos army with some creative painting/modeling. So Ebay can really come through for you by providing you with the bits you need.

The advice that people gave me when I got started, and really holds true, is figure out what you REALLY want to play, and then zero in on those models. It will take you a lot longer to shop for, but in the end you'll be much happier with the result.

No, your not a jerk, your actually quite helpful. I havent bought Battleforce yet, and was wondering everyone elses opinion about which is the best to make a 1250pt army from.
