The old sistem was quite clumsy i hope 6th ed 40k assumes the % formula too.

This system is a nice hybrid system - still have a max number of special / rare of each type, to avoid a little bit of spam, but a gobbo hero at 50 points isnt taling a quarter of your characters.

A LOT better than 6th and 7th edition.

% all the way.

its more realistic and fair to low cost heros.

From the two options given I find % to be better. Although I prefer a hybrid using both methods to be my choice. A system that uses % and prevents spamming choices is my favorite.

But is kinda not what we are voting on in this poll (although I assume the poll is between this and last edition but still). Therefore a short elaboration.

One can allways hope GW will level the field a bit for that game too.

The percent system is so much more fair. It gimps my armies (lizardmen, and ogre kingdoms) but I feel that fairness trumps specific advantages.

2 goblin characters don't have as much clout as 2 ogre characters, and %'s represent this.

Percentages work better for characters, but meeting 25% core for some armies is a bitch. At least it wasn't 50%...

I like % for sure.
I could see there being an issue with them just changing it over for 40k because there would be some really nasty things you could do.
