I ran across a sculpt of Magnus the Red that isn't the usual Ronin one on Ebay. Interested on finding out if one of you chaps can help me track down the origins of it:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Primarch-MAGNUS-RED-Thousand-Sons-Space-Marines-rare-limited-special-edition-/250949133395?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item3a6dbbe453#ht_3467wt_1344
Doesn't look like Ronin, Kabuki, or that Italian chap to me.

Well it's certainly not a GW sculpt. I'd guess from the seller's email suffix, it's from a German sculptor.

Hell I've seen that one somewhere before. ¬¬ Have you tried just contacting the seller and asking them? I'm sure they'd tell you the original creator's if they knew where they got it from (unless they're selling the thing for a ridiculous price and the original miniature's still on the market).

I actually believe that ones origins are from Russia, and were also originally cast in metal. I know that the Curze model ha has originated from a russian. I believe the resins are actually recast.
