My Feral Ork army for a recent league. They did amazingly well in small point games, not so well as we moved up. Some of that was my inability to come up with conversion ideas for some units I would have liked (Meks, burnas, etc).

Please let me know what you think. This was all painted pretty quickly, no unit took more than about six hours.

Everything is in my gallery as well. Thanks for looking!

Great work... love the ogre orkz (give me some ideias), and the painting on the spider is awesome... congratulations...

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...
My take on Demiurgs (enjoy the reading):

Yea great work man.. Love the spider too, but photos seem to be too dark? Try high ISO or lower shutter speed?

Me gusta.

Lootas? Maybe you can use the guns ad crossbows from Empire Handgunners/crossbowmen kit.

And what do the Ogre orks represent?

Looking good dude. I'd suggest to thin the paint a little more as some areas are a bit thick, but the colour schemes are excellent. The giant spider especially.

@heartserenade: The Ogre orks are Meganobz

@Whoopty: I agree, my paint did get a bit think in parts. For many of these I was sort of in a rush to get them painted for my league game the same day.

I like the ogreorks and the spider paintjob is ace. Are the front legs on the boar right? They look comically short. All in all a job well done in the time allotted.

Great character to the army and a few very clever conversions (love the ogre-orks as meganobs idea - perfect representation of strong, armored, but painfully slow without going high tech (well, for orks)). Paintjob isn't extraordinary, but that's to be expected. I'd still be proud, as your "in a rush to get them on the table" is better than much of what is called "tabletop quality."

The Dreadnote wrote:But the Emperor already has a shrine, in the form of your local Games Workshop. You honour him by sacrificing your money to the plastic effigies of his warriors. In time, your devotion will be rewarded with the gift of having even more effigies to worship.

Wow! Awesome army! Dynamic posing and modelling, nicely painted with a well chosen muted colour pallet!
