Greetings,
Brothers and sisters, I would like to ask you: How would you have it if you could get Andy Chambers ''Former overseer of 40k, the lead man that made 3rth edition with all it's fun armies and rules'' back into GW? To make and produce Lore, Fluff and gaming rules for 40k.
Well this is the chance, the opportunity brothers and sisters! As we know, Andy Chambers left Blizzard not long ago and has returned to Nottingham, the place where Warhammer is made and crafted.
This is the perfect chance to give back the touch and shine to 40k that it once had but it depends on every single one of us. Every single individual is the grain of sand that will form this mountain, this Legion of gamers that care for a better 40k.
WE ARE LEGION!
All we have to do is send a hand written (or comp written) letter asking GW to get Andy Chambers back into their 40k department.
All written letters should be sent towards the following address:

Tell them that you would like Andy chambers back, that you liked the rules and ideas that he comes up with.

Um he is now the creative director of Blizzard Entertainment, working on StarCraft II, I doubt he will be with GW any time soon.

Andy is working on DUST Warfare at the moment, so that might have something to do with it. In any case, have no interest in bringing Mr. Chambers back to GW. As others have stated he had ideas, but other than that, he was a lousy game developer. The only way he would be a good fit for the GW hobby at this point is if he had Jervis's job and didn't actually write any rules, etc. but the problem with that is that Jervis has Jervis's job, and he isn't leaving anytime soon.

I'd love to have him back. He was a great idea man, and he brought some cool rules to the game, like many of the USRs we use now. I really like the BL stuff I've read of his, and I hear he's writing something new for BL right now. While I don't recall badly balanced rules from him (a little before my time I'm afraid) I'm sure that if he was working alongside another author (like Phil Kelly with the last Tyranids codex) then everything should be gravy.

What I've heard is that the rules Andy Chambers had written, which were supposed to be 3rd edition, were actually then turned into the first Starship Troopers rules. All those responsible for 3rd and 4th edition and to a lesser extent 5th edition need to be delivered unto the Dark Eldar for a thousand years of unspeakable torture. I want Andy Chambers to write a set of rules that will bury Games Workshop like it never existed.

Close, but not quite-- the Starship Troopers rules were actually supposed to be the rules for 4th edition, but GW didn't want to have to redo every Codex again.
