So I was looking on gamesworkshop's site and it seems that they no longer sell the blood angels honour guard kit. I'm wondering what models I could possibly use for a conversion if there is no way to buy the kit any more. The other units in my army are going to be 1 librarian, 2 sag priest and 4 full squads of assault marines. I plan on going with 4 plasma guns and 4 storm shields so my list will be a perfect 1500.

There are plenty of options for BA honor guard. Are you doing jump packs on them? If so, a box of Sanguinary Guard would give you the awesome winged jump packs you could use, plus all the fancy armor and whatnot. If not, a box of Death Company would still give you a huge amount of BA-themed bits and a ton of options. GW does sell packs of plasma guns you could use, and a set including storm shields as well as some thunder hammers you could keep for other projects. The regular Space Marine honor guard plastic kit would also work, and it comes with the plastic bits you'd need to make the apothecary/sanguinary novitiate in the BA honor guard. Really Honor guard is pretty much BA Command Squad. Any suitably elite looking marines should do the trick

That'd probably work out pretty well. I'd advise against using the "X" shoulderpads though, as those are pretty specific to Death Co. The rest of the DC stuff is so festooned with BA symbols and icons that it'll make you some great honor guard.

Well I'm already buying 4 squads of both assault squads and death company for my assault squads so I can just buy a 5th box and use the assault squad shoulders. And ill just buy a 3rd sag priest from gw and make it match my guard. Thanks everyon who posted.
