Newcrons. I don't have an overly detailed explanation, but its the first range in a long time I can keep assembling/painting without getting bored. Plus useful dual assembly kit, not technically an opinion on the finished model but on variety of assembly

Nids, especially the Carnifex, it is such a joy to assemble. Other Nids have great models, like the Gargoyles, Tyrants, Hive Guard, Trygon etc. Even the mediocre and crap-tacular models like Pyrovores and Warrior have a cool models.

I've always loved the GK color scheme and the pretty ways you can paint the nemesis force weapons

runner up is the IG and the sleek valkyries along with something like the storm lord super heavy just cause there's no such thing as too many guns on 1 unit!

The answer to this is simple. Space Marines. While I dont play any SM faction the newer ones like Space Wolves, Blood Angels, and Grey Knights are just better then all the other model out there. Why you ask? Because SM are GWs bread and butter and they spend a lot more money making sure they look awesome.

Dark Eldar are pretty sleek, so I'd say them.

I'd like to say Chaos Space Marines because they have some really good models (like the Chaos Lord, Terminators and Raptors) but they have their fair share of craptastic models as well.

In no specific order: Eldar, Necrons and Tyranids. Necrons are a fantastic new looking army and im really enjoying collecting the models. Eldar is just plain cool looking, gracefull, very different style but truly distinct. Tyranids with mythical like montrous creatures are a sigth to behold and I truly believe the next go around with them is goin to reveal even more amazing beasts. Out of all of them I find that Tyranids are capable of the most dynamic of poses being able to allow the modeler to really express the ferocity of their nature.

1.) There's a lot of different kinds over a diverse range of concepts. From aliens to mutants to hovercraft to assassins to fighter jets.
2.) Nothing is metal anymore besides like 1 or 2 special characters. Making customability and converting far easier.
3.) Sleek, clean, modern look

sisters of battle and Tau, because they are the only ones left.

In all seriousness, I do really like the look of Tau and the ability for Orks to be anything you want them to be. As the only non- standardized race in the galaxy (maybe chaos too) you see more on the table than GW and FW, which is great.

Prof: n is very good, but n-1 is also very good.

That's a hard question. Every army brings something special to the table. If i were looking at an army i'd say the Tau or Tyranids or even eldar. In single models i like the space marine models and ork models popped in to my head.

Yup. You can keep your stupid golden nipple armor and your elf clowns. Why play those when your army can look like this:

A vote for the Death Korp of Krieg for myself. No other army, in my opinion, is such a perfect visual example of the grim nature of 40k, compared to the Korpsmen of Krieg.

I really like the vostroyan metal line, some of those models like the company commander, medic, standard bearer, and snipers just look fantastic even standing next to resin and plastic new grey knights and dark eldar.

They are also a lot more reasonably priced than dkok

Difficult to answer this one, each has at least one model I like the look of. I could take the easy answer and say SoB or Eldar due to playing them, but then there are the few models in other forces I'd start if there were more of them.

So to sort of cheat it, I'll say the Imperium of Man.

Imperial Guard by the longest of long shots.

Take the basic Lasgun toting infantryman.

You can choose from:
Catachan (plastic or metal).
Cadian (Metal, monopose plastic or multipose plastic).
RT era.
Mordian.
Vostoyan.
Valhallan.
Steel Legion.
Tallarn.
Praetorian.
The truly amazing Death Korps and Elysian resin models.
Plus
Gaunt's ghosts models.
Last chancers
Metal Kasrkins.
Pre-Kasrkin stormtroopers.
And beret wearing stormtroopers as stand-ins.

Add to that the fact that they can be easily kit bashed, have superbly detailed heavy weapons teams and have the best armour and elite models to go with them.

Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
