Clash of the Titans was horrid. Crappy acting, decisions that made zero sense, and overall "I want to be epic, but can't" feel to it. Hopefully this will be better.

So, why is there what I assume is a Hekatonkheir slicing up random soldiers? Last time I checked, they were the jailors of the Titans and as such would obviously be on the side of the Olympian Gods, not that of the Titans.

No I get it, because in all honesty, I completely agree with what you said about it. Specially on the decisions on where the movie actually went, just leaves you with a, how does that make sense? But I still think its an ok action porn kindda movie. But I also have a thing for shittastic movies

Yeah. Mindless action. The fighting really wasn't bad, but everything else?

How dare you besmirch a movie featuring a long past his primer Bruce Willis power sliding into scene as if to say "I am all that is everyman action hero!"

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

Good because he is nearly bad at it as michael 'Call me mahgnaytoe' Fassbender.
Actors should just get to use their normal accents. Afterall it's not like they are speaking in Ancient greek. Trailer looks fairly rubbish.
Oh and Flashman good spot with the danny mcbride.

The last film did not have any Titans clashing despite its title. I was not happy. I expect that this film might have some Titans expressing their wrath.
Hell, this one is basically God of War the movie... so who cares. If they can top the sand-wood people fighting with massive scorpions bit from the first film, I'll be happy.

You're right that Sweet Dreams is used in Sucker Punch, but the Marilyn Manson version comes from Not Another Teen Movie.

Why do I know that?
No, it comes from his 1995 CD Smells Like Children, predating that movie by six years. It's a good cover, got an MTV nom for Best Rock Video that year, and was all over the place. It's been used in a lot of stuff. One of the first things I ever heard by them.

I read a detailed article a while ago which explained how the movie's plot was completely changed in re-writes, with the theme shifted and the roles of multiple characters changed. It broke down and showed how and why multiple characters have confused and contradictory roles in the plot. I can't seem to find the article right now, though. If I come up with it I'll post a link.
EDIT: Found it. Apparently it was from Chud.com (a friend of mine C&P'd it into an email thread):
It’s obvious that Clash of the Titans isn’t the movie it’s supposed to be. Watching the film – 2D or 3D – reveals a movie that’s internally inconsistent and that bears all the hallmarks of something that’s been tampered with and changed at the last minute. Trying to figure out what happened and to discover what the other Clash of the Titans could have been, I began doing some research and investigation.
Probably the most interesting thing I learned is that there’s a significantly different cut of the film in the vault. Louis Leterrier’s original version of Clash of the Titans differs from what’s playing in theaters in some fairly major ways, and while some of it could be restored for the DVD release, much of it would need extra FX work and would drastically change the plot of the film. Unlike last summer’s Terminator Salvation, which got messed around with in the script stage and on set, Clash of the Titans was largely changed after principal photography through editing and some widely reported reshoots – all of which included Leterrier.
It should go without saying that this article will contain spoilers for Clash of the Titans, so if you haven’t seen the movie please stop reading now.
The most drastic changes in the film come at the expense of the gods. Many watching the movie wonder why Danny Huston would have been hired to play Poseidon when he has almost absolutely nothing to do in the film; the answer is that nearly two thirds of the business with the gods was edited out of the film, and the very tenor of the god scenes was changed in fundamental ways...

I didn't mind Clash, I thought it was fun, you just have to shut your brain off when you watch these kinda movies. But then maybe my expectations were lowered a lot because of all the bad press it got. Either way I'm looking forward to this one, though I prolly won't catch it till it's on cable.

Did you read the whole article?
Yeah, it's kind of mystifying.
