Consider this thread subscribed. Thoroughly jaw-dropping work, if I wasn't a poor college student I'd make myself one of these for my homebrew chapter.

Would Black Templars get one of these? If I remember my fluff, they were Imperial Fists descendants, but it seems like something they'd do. Any chance of it?

As for updates I have none at the moment as I've been bogged down with commissions the past month or so. Hopefully in the next week or two I can get back at it.

Stay tuned....

From several years of Latin at school (a long time ago)...urrk...Gladius Obscurus would be "Dark Sword" I think.

Lots of great suggestions. I'm thinking it would only be appropriate to put it to a vote and let you guys name it. What do you think?

Angelus Redemptor is Angel of Redemption... I think...my latin is very rusty

Angelus Redemptio is Redeemer of Angels...I might have those backwards...as I said my Latin is VERY rusty

A vote would be cool...but in the end it is your work and the final should be up to you...say narrow it down to three and then you decide from there??

ah...I like your one. I thought my one meant angel of redemption, but then I got mine off a free online translator, while you've learnt (some) of it.
I vote that we have a vote.

Gladius Obscurus

So which ever name has the most votes by midnight on Sunday is the winner. Write in canidates will also be accepted, unless they are silly

Angelus Redemptor, for sure.

I like The Lion's Roar, but it sounds less gothic and moody. Gladius Obscurus sounds kinda silly and over dramatic to me. Angelus Redemptor hits the sweet spot in the middle.

Things are looking good for Gladius Obscurus.. I really don't think any of the other names will catch up with it seeing as how everyone who's on board this project with any regularity has already voted.. hm..

Redemptor sounds the best. Lion's roar just sound like part the Lion King franchise.

I'd still have to go for Lion's Roar, if just so it can go down with its head held high.

Isn't Angelus Redemptor a little confusing if it's also one of their 2nd founding chapters?
