Correct all around...though you dont get charged till the end for anything, options or otherwise. If you decide to, you can completely back out.

Some people (myself) like to go ahead and throw what we think we will spend at the KS campaign right away. Others buy in at the minimum amount and wait. Still others will increase there pledge by the amount they need to cover the options they want when they are revealed or met.

Although it is largely preference, there is a common good purpose to putting your best pledge forward early on. More pledged dollars reveals more goals and more freebies which ultimately will pull more people off the fence.

I consider the quality good enough. For the most part, I consider them better quality than many of Mantic's KoW figures. They provide me with a wide range of figures for Role-Playing Games and Fantasy Boardgames (Ravenloft, et al), and now that I've become interested in Fantasy Battles again via Kings of War, with it's robust "Counts-As" system, it's a good way to get interesting larger monsters at a tiny fraction of what they would cost from GW or any other sources. Additionally, they're so cheap that I can go to town on painting them in different styles and experimenting using different methods, while still having plenty of figures to use while teaching my wife to paint. I'm also likely to pick up Song of Blades and Heroes this week, so I'll give some Warbands with Bones a try. So, the answer really is both. One wouldn't get me to pledge without the other.

2) No, but until the KickStarter closes you are free to adjust it back down. So on the last day if you look and don't see more than $125 in options you can decrease accordingly.

3) Correct, no money will be charged until the KS closes.

Yeah, if the sculpts were bad, the casts were bad, the material was bad, they could be dirt cheap and I wouldn't buy them.

Bones 1 had great sculpts, great casts and good materials. Makes me willing to give reaper more money.

Just for clarity, it is just that set of figures, most come with an integral plastic base, which on Bones is very easy to slice off.

Looks like terrain to me. They got a lot of positive feedback about Kaladrax's base....

The corner thing definitely looked like it was meant for a diorama or something.

My daughter said it was a playset for all the fighting girls and princesses she's getting.

The best thing about the Bones figures is they look decent painted up, and I don't get chewed out for buying a figure or two for the kids to mess with.

When this stuff comes in next fall we are going to have a CRAY ZAY Song of Blades and Heroes campaign going on. I will find some way to include all this stuff.

Bones will be fighting my flying baby, nekkid lady, masochistic pig man party time warbands from Wrath of Kings in about a year!

The way I see it is if there are 50 models I like out of the entire basic pledge by the end of this it's worth it. And we're currently sitting around 35 or so. So I'm good with this.

Also I'll be throwing in on the extra dragons and hill giants so far. And maybe one or two of the other options.

Basically I want to like enough of the smaller models to get them $2 each. And the big ones all seem solid enough at the price point provided. Maybe even dirt cheap!

One more thing - A lot of you are still pledging and watching through the wee hours of the night, but we've had a really exciting day, raising so much in such a short amount of time, and we're going to be shutting off the lights here at the factory and getting some rest.
