I think it'd be okay to drop this here but I won't say who said it...
About your offering to help, we plan to announce soon something related, so everyone wanting to help promoting Infinity will have a reward and official support. Stay tuned!
That's a nice gesture. There's some great small companies out there trying to help the game out with various things like terrain and vehicle models. Seeing them get rewarded for their help would be great.

I got my hands on one of those fancy quick start rule booklets, shiny and to the point. Easier to understand than the big book for some silly reason, but now I feel more than ready to give it a go.
Only complaint is that some of the sample armies in the back are not easy to recreate without buying a few extra blisters in addition to the faction starters.

Then I may just start Combined Army and convert them into more Starcraft-esque beings. Oh my, the horror!
It really depends on the texture of the whole figure. The CA Sepsitor takes over the human mind, but it doesn't really induce any morphological changes; in factm the CA in generall keeps the biological features of the creatures pretty much intact. Due to the CA's technological aptitude in the fluff and the boxy nature of the "wings" in those preview images, she probably is not much more than a human with alien tech attached. Likely too cybernetic to be Tyranidy. Most of the CA itself is too cybernetic to be Tyranidy aside from their insectoid non-Exrah creatures like the Hungries and the Charotonid.
To be honest, you may have better luck with the Aleph Asura models as a base body, replacing the head with a GW Daemonette. Wings will have to be obtained somewhere.

Speaking to my FLGS they haven't had the January/February releases yet (I think it is actually January's) and are hoping to get them in the first week of March so the February releases will be for sale in April??? or march...? In confused.
From what they've been told CB are behind and deliberately withheld releases in Feb to catch up with re-stock orders from everyone. By the sound of it they are seeing a massed increase in the sales of Infinity, lets hope they catch up 'cause I want my new toys!
How do you expect me to know what it is if you haven't painted it! Unpainted models are just proxies for the real thing

Again releases gain their name the month they are previewed on the public.
So January releases are, the ones showcased in January, Celestial guard hacker, HRL wildcat, Aleph support pack, Gao Rael Spitfire and the biscards box.
Now we are waiting for the February releases.

I thought there might be more interest in this. It's going to be a really welcome addition for those who are already promoting Infinity independantly and those who would like to. Those who know more about Wyrd and PP's programs, what do you think CB are planning?

Well we'll get a Press Ganger/Henchman equivalent (speculate on the name as you wish), perhaps some direct scenario model rules (i.e. the new scenarios in No Quarter, though we are seeing this in some fashion with the Spec Ops), and perhaps tournament/competitive/league support.
That'd be a good start. It's nice to feel supported by a company
These cubes are specially useful for blocking Line of Fire without having to put there something like a whole building.
Plus... they also are great for making multi-level interesting buildings.
I hope they are low-cost, because I think I need 4 of them for my Micro Art Table.

CB already do pretty good support if you want to try and run some intro events. I ran one, and they sent me a box of free stuff (intro rule books, some miniatures to give out. badges and things like that).
