Hello Dakkites one and all!!

Considering I've been hobbying for quite a few years now I thought I'd better dip my hand into to veritable geneseed bucket and start my own marine army - a chapter of my own design.

Currently named the Crimson Shoguns, the name is not final but is currently the best one I've brainstormed so far - the only criteria being it must include either 'Shoguns' or 'Samurai' down to personal preference

I'm gonna try and get as much done as possible but me and the missus are currently about a fortnight away from our second child together so as you can understand that may prove difficult - but I digress I have images of my finished chapter master (currently un-named)









I realise these pics are absolutely fething huge but its currently late and I've not yet got any photo editing software on my pc so hopefully I'll edit tese later or just let all other pics that follow be a bit smaller

On the subject of following pics I have also got the Honour Guard kit-bashed and semi-basecoated alongside their razorback and will post images once I've gone a little further with them but for now I hope you enjoy

Not bad for a first model... is that khan?

tis yea - I love the eastern theme I can generate from having him - he's only got a couple of things different. 1) all white scar insignia was (painstakingly) filed off with the centre motif being replaced by a green-stuffed japanese kanji (which I'll have to get a picture of up on here) and second I stuck the top of a high elf dragon mage staff to his back

Damn it's been a while people but I finally have some painted models to post up on here, my honour guard are all done (apart from an arm - you'll see what I mean)

So without further ado:

First up in my Bood Champion,

The shield is from the Dwarf Warrior sprue with assault marine legs, grey knight halberd and chaos marine head

Next 2 guys are standard honour guard






Next my apothecary (he still needs some work on the light and the Narthecium I'm not completely happy with him atm)


And lastly my Standard Bearer


he's missing his banner arm as I'm currently awaiting transfer paper for a banner I strung together on the pc - i'm also doing the same for the chapter symbol as my freehand would make an Ork look like Da Vinci


Here's a parting shot of the group as a whole til next time - hopefully I'll have their Razorback painted and I've recently put together some termies so if I get to it I get it on here
