Splattered With Acrylic Paint

Taranto, Italy

Hi to all, this is the last unit that I've painted on commission, a unit of Thousand Sons! I've used the aribrush for the blue armour and the chipping technique for the first time, I hope you like it! The bases are done with some bits, sand, pigments and ready made grass! Love the metal bits of the model, despite the poor quality of the legs that I found horrible.. hope you like them!

This is a perfect example that CSM pain schemes don't all have to be dark and brooding. With the blue, it also comes off to me as a bit "in your face, Ultramarines!" Which I must give props to.

Lovely blue - works for TS, would also work perfectly for UM. Even more than that, though, I love the subtle chipping. I think that's one of the more effective examples I've seen, actually.

pretty nice looking models. Airbrushing def gives a nice finish to plate armour. I just brought one myself, still getting used to it but its giving some pleasing affects already.

Thank you all! I use a sponge and charadon granite to paint the chipping! New pics done after some retouchings!
