Hey all! I just started painting my Eldar army and have a rather nice blood red I have chosen for the color scheme. However it seems that the all the aspect warriors get their own colors and will not match and sometimes clash with the guardians and tanks in my red style.

Has anyone seen any examples where they kept the color scheme in tack throughout the whole army? Like painting the Scorpions not just the bright green of their aspect but unified with the whole army?

thanks!

Paint their armor the same as your CW but paint their heads in their Aspect colors perhaps?

Or do it the other way around and paint the main armour in the aspect colours and the helmet in the main army scheme. You could even try doing the "cloth" undersuit in the craftworld colours and the armour plates in the aspect colours.

Both the ideas above are good but if you want to paint them the same colour then go ahead and do it.

You paid for them you can do what you want with them.

I for one would have no problem playing against an Eldar army that had a consistant colour scheme.

Personally I prefer the aspects to be in correct colours with thier trim done in the craftworld colours.

Just pick some colours for your craftworld then mix around their positioning depending on the aspect warrior.

[shamelessplugforblog]Personally I just switch the head and body armour colours around eg guardians have green helmets and white armour, while aspects have white helmets and green armour.
