You get some new awesome unit/model for your army in the new edition, but you have to sacrifice 3 options from your current codex. What do you sacrifice?

Tyranids: I'd axe Old One Eye, Sky-slasher Swarms, and Pyrovore

Orks: That unique character warphead, Weirdboy, and Flash Gits

Record:

8th edition:
Tyranids: 5-4-3
Orks: 4-2-1

5th edition

Orks:18-5-1
Tyranids: 17-10-4

6th edition

Tyranids: 6-4-1
Orks: 3-1-0

I would sacrifice OOE as well. With 4 wounds the regen is as fun as Tervigon's 6

On a similar note, let's say that (hypothetically) I play an army which might or might not be Tyranids.

Can I get 1 awsome model/unit *per* 3 units I sacrifice, or am I limited to sacrificing 3?

Deep in the Webway

Necrons: Deathmarks, Triarch Praetorians, Monolith.
I would replace one or two with a couple of the HQs but I don't have my codex on me so I can't name them :(

Dark Eldar: Court of the Archon, Mandrakes, Hellions (just a personal thing, I see little use in them, most others would probably disagree)

Orks: Kommandos (too unorky), Warbuggies, Looted Wagon

guard: punishers, eradicators, exterminators. I give you three russ variants for even only one variant in return that actually did its job well at a reasonable price.

CSM: Spawn, raptors, bikes. I'd exchange all three FA choices for chaos for even one FA option (even if it was just revamped bikes or raptors) that was worth taking.
