Is there a way to remove mold lines with my low RPM Tamiya hobby drill?

Hmm I have never heard of that and I don't think it would be the most effective. It would just be easier (in my mind) to use the back of a hobby knife or file.

Knife or file iis what you need. Dont try a drill. Wont work.

Well it would work... but is way too prone to accidentally damaging the piece you're removing the mold line from.

I wouldn't reccomend it.

Get a hobby knife or a needle file.

I tried it and it sort of works. I'll try again later after I recharge the batteries of the drill.

Was this just out of laziness?

I have found that the back edge of a hobby knife works the best for removing mold lines hands down. If the area still needs some additional work, a good set of files will finish the job. I haven't found anything that works any better.

A hobby knife is probably about as fast as a drill, and maybe a bit neater. A file is much slower but is insanely neat.

Not really worth it IMO.

I find filing to be pretty quick; GW plastic isn't the hardest substance known to man. Far from it

Otherwise they'd make files out of it

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
