Hey folks, I have a question for those of you with Battlefoam bags.

I noticed their trays for Russes and Chimeras are listed as being 3" tall. Do you feel that's enough height to fit your tanks safely without removing the turrets, or would you recommend getting a slightly taller custom tray? Just eyeballing it, 3" looks a smidge short with the turrets on, but I could easily be wrong about that. Thanks in advance!

All I can tell you is that a land raider fits exactly in a 4 inch tray if placed at a 90 degree angle, on it's side. Use that as a judge.

I have several BF trays to hold my guard army, including the standard sized trays for my Chimera and Russes, and I store all of them in the trays with turrets on. Some of my Russ tanks, I have to turn the turret into the "stowed for transport position" which is, the barrel pointing straight to the rear, over the engine of the vehicle


I should also point out that I have modeled all of my tanks with the hatch down (I hate anyone riding in the cupola, getting fresh air as it were... this is WAR afterall!)

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I'll probably buy a PACK AIR case later this year for my Genestealer Cult, so I'm figuring out exactly how much it'll hold and what I'll need tray-wise. I'm pretty impressed with its potential capacity considering the size of the case.
