Hi! This is a blog about an Ork player making a Chaos Obliterator from a Warhammer Ogre and my younger brothers small supply of Chaos bitz. (whew)

One day (ages ago), I bought two (probably illegal ) Warhammer Ogres. I had one finished (badly) but the other was just sitting on the workbench looking sad (and missing an arm). So I have finally decided that it was time to do something new. Something that no Dakkaite had ever seen before in all of DakkaDakka history. I was going to convert a model into an Obliterator Wow! Shock! Horror!
However... I am an Ork player, so i have abosolulty no Chaos bitz to help me through this road. Along comes my brother, a (retired) Chaos player. I have (will) asked him if I could use some of his leftover bitz and he (hopefully) replied... "yes."

So with his Chaos bitz (hopefully) i will be able to make my Obliterator .

I have started tho, so here's where I am:

This is the body of the Ogre after i took it apart again

And here is the Belly Cannon (Ork inspired, belive it or not )

My (painfully bad) GS skillz

And more amazing (-ly bad) GS

A small update:

This is my (badly drawn) plan for the Obliterator.

As you can see:
-his head will be a composite of helmet (upper half) and organic (lower half)
-there will be Dakka!
-he is getting kneepads (to look less like a Warhammer Ogre)
-he is missing an arm.

If anyone has any ideas for the arm (or anything else) please tell me. Everything suggest will be taken into account, and then probably used immediately.

Things you can't see:
-his backpack will be part of his back
-the invisible pink unicorn in the background.

I have his face finished. It was made from a Khorne Berzerker that was shaved down and GS -ed.
As you can see from the pictures, they are obviously the best GS ever .

This is the head (believe it or not!)

The side of the head (Really? )

And the head on the body.

C&C always welcome

The belly cannon is awesome and using an ogre as a base is an awesome idea. I'm not a huge fan of his face though, but that might just be personal taste.

Also, pretty cool sculpting so far. Better than my tries.

I have to agree with you, I'm not too pleased on the face myself, but it was my first time, and I copied an Orks head. Probably not the best of things to have done .

I like it, the ogre body works well with the belly-cannon and the head, IMO, looks quite good. Look foward to seeing the finished result.

This is a signature. It contains words of an important or meaningful nature.

I think the face might be better if you teched it up a bit- emphasise the biomechanical aspects of the obliterator as much as possible. Right now, he looks very much like a fantasy ogre with a pipe in his belly. Some creepy techy touches will help make him a convincing obliterator.

A small update.

I have FINALY finished my Invisible Pink Unicorn. I decided that it looked best on the tarmac base so that it looked like the unicorn was running through a city (or something).

So, without further ado, here is my Invisible Pink Unicorn!

This is going to be a rather large update.

I have completed the arm (apart from some more cabling and iconography on the shoulder pad) and I have finely attached the (improved) head. Also, the backpack has been added.
The head has had a robotic eye added as well as some random cabling (to make it extra creepy...)

Here is the body with the head attached and the new cabling

This is the completed backpack (unless you think there is something else I could add)

The gun-arm thing

Another picture of the gun-arm thing (from the other side)

And the last thing many have seen.

Thanks for looking at this appalling mess
Any thoughts on what I could do would be greatly appreciated.
