I recently battled a space marine army, one of the characters (cato sicarius) has Mantle of the Suzerain, a suit of armour that grants FNP to him, Catos was also joined by an apothecary, who grants the squad FNP as well, He claimed that the effects stack, so he can make the FNP save twice, Please calrify.

No having multiple sources of a rule don't let you use it several times. It's like having the USR scout. You can't make multiple scout moves if it comes from different sources.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

Sounds like rubbish to me, the Apothocary grants the squad FNP, if they have already got it then there isn't anything to grant?

Yeah, you can only ever get an effect once. Poor planning on his part

The Silver Lances: 4000 pts
The Custodes Winter Watch 4000 pts

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum.

The apothecary grants him FNP, however as it doesn't stack he remains with only one FNP effect thus only getting one FNP roll. Anything to negate FNP negates them both obviously as well.

Yeah, Sicarius's magic cape is only around to give him a FNP roll when he isn't palling around with his med-school buddy. When they're out having drinks, then both rolls don't apply. Everyone above me is totally correct.

No that only applies if you get the "Just got completely off my face at the Boozer" Special rule.

Watch for it in the upcoming Aussie Space Marines Codex: Croc Hunters

Will they have a specific weakness against the Tau with their fish-based vehicle naming scheme?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Ah that is when the Fishin' Trip special rule comes in:

Any Croc Hunter unit that comes within 36" of any fish named vehicle will immediately down weapons (no leadership test required) , grab eskies, Fishin' gear, Tin Dinghies, enough cartons of beer to give an elephant cirrhosis just by looking at it and a 4WD and disappear with their "mates" for weeks on end trying, and failing, to catch them.

All squad members so effected are removed as casualties but don't count towards victory points, in fact they don't count for much at all really.

Yes, but only the Manta from Forgeworld.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

I think we're done here now.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
