Just a few things I finished up today. The Butcher for my Khador army, and a test model for my Cryx color scheme, BIG thanks to Mechanicum Jon for the info and the inspiration on the colors!

First up the Butcher in all his rage!

Next up is the Cryx test model, again big thanks to Mechanicum Jon for the inspiration!

I think I need to do an alternate glowing color, the green glow just blends a bit too much.

Looks really good, but your right about the glow. maybe a magenta would stand out more.

First I saw the Butcher and thought but wondered "how's that inspired by me?"

Then I saw the Deathripper and felt ! You've convinced me that if I ever start playing Warmachine I'll be stealing that scheme back from you! Did you use my mix of Electric Blue and Scorpion Green or some other mix?

The large patches of peeling paint in front look particularly realistic.

Thanks again! I did use that mix for some touch up here and there, but really it was just the Tamyia color you recommended. After I sprayed the model I took Vallejo Sand and did a very light, thin coat with my airbursh, this helped give the color a faded look. After that I blocked all the colors in. Finally after all the colors were blocked I started using Burnt Umber and Raw Umber oil paints to do the rusting and weathering.

The streaks were done with oil paints, raw umber and burnt umber used in various degrees. Thanks for the compliment!
