Just a thought to all you chaos players and evil doers. Given the choice, what kind of daemonically influenced, phychotic or manevolent servant of evil would you be? thought would be interesting to see how you would picture yourself as one of the great bad guys of the 40k universe This is one of those 'just 'cause' questions

1) What would be your evil name/title?
2) Would you serve a legion/warband/heretical cult? If so, which?
3) Would you have any mutations? (given the choice of any, not random gifts)
4) What wargear would you be packing? (Doesn't have to be game legal, but does have to be reasonable, so no triple barrelled battlecannon pistols)
5) Ultimate motive?

Personally, mine would be:

1+2) Khotep, Sorcerer lord of the Thousand sons.
3) A pair of black feathered wings
4) Power armour, force weapon (wrist blades) and a combi-plasmagun
5) Much like Ahriman, I want to learn all there is about chaos.

Wyrmlord, herald of chaos.
He commands a large khornate warband, the basilisks, who are devoted to causing maximum terror and death.
He has many scales and spines running down his back as well as a set of ram horns.
He wears standard power armour. His weapons are two large chainaxes covered in blades.
His ultimate goal is to one day accend to daemonhood, commanding countless more followers and power.

I like

I've been toying with an idea for a nurgle based war band. Instead of being bloated corpses, based on putrefaction, they are thin, withered and rust encrusted, based on the forces of corrosion.

Their war leader (me) wears heavily reinforced artificer armour, nearing the weight of terminator armour. His war gear consists of two modified lightning claws which both have a built in shield plating at the base of the claws at the forearm, doubling as a defensive and offensive weapon.

Powers consist of an aura of corrosion, leading to the decay and breaking down of inorganic material in the immediate area, including incoming projectiles on occasion.

Any thoughts on a name?

Sounds cool How about for a name, something based on decay/their frail bodies E.g XXXXX, wraithking of the YYYYY, or XXXXX the witherer?

It's not strictly a chaos marine, but I'm not one to argue with a powerclawed warboss My marine self has learned not to annoy big green warbosses.

Several rokkit packs are also welded to the back of the armor (though they do little more than scorch the ground directly hehind the mek).

5) To build a suit of Mega-armor with a hopper-ful of gretchin on the back. Armed with two Shokk Attack Gunz!!!!

And I'd find three or four guys of similar taste and dress and we'd tour the Eye of Terror. Maybe even play benefit concerts on hive worlds.

5) ultimate motive is simple, to break the pride filled ranks of the space marine chapters killing the unworthy and to prove his superiority to all including the chaos gods. To instill fear and seek out worthy challenge. (selfish and doesn't think larger picture unless in situations that demand it)

1. Laxicrus, Harbinger of the Carrion God
2. I serve noone except the Fifth God. My loyality belongs only to Him just as my body and soul.
3. I walk on the path blessed by the Devourer of Hope. As such, the servants of His imprisoned form have no power over me.
4. I wear a power armour that once belonged to Brother-Captain Polgiks. In batle, i use my two-handed flail-sword Guardslayer and my trusty warp-enhanced storm bolter Spitfire. I also have an Iron Halo once belonged to Ismaer the Enlightened (former Captain Ismaer of the White Scars). I also have an ancient Astartes bike, Balesteed.
5. I travel the universe and seek out the true followers of my god, the Overlord of Despair. I weed out the weak and open the eyes of the strong, so His herd will be true and purified at the Endtimes of Awakening.

Loyal only to Talos, and his (our) deluded, nostalgia stained worldview of the Night Lords and the universe in general, although I'd be sympathetic to those who had gone over to Khorne, because I understand that you can only bank the fires of rage for so long.

No mutations.

Although I'd have a bolt pistol, I would prefer my meltagun. The chainsword I would keep oiled, but mostly for show rather than use. If I actually needed to cut something, I would use the Nostraman switchblade I carried in a belt pouch, because it would be much quieter.

Truly I would be a lost person, a member of an honorable warrior tradition that only truly existed in my own head, struggling to survive in a universe which demanded that I have a purpose, when I know that there is no purpose worth fighting for, my life made all the more tragic because I lack the resolve to simply give up and die.


Sorry, Aaron Dembski-Bowden gives the only really accessible Chaos characters. If I have to be a Chaos follower, I'd prefer to be one with three dimensions. And I don't need to lead a warband. (That gets you killed. And everyone wants you to have, like, plans and stuff.) No, I'm happy to serve in an ex-tactical squad, frying things with my meltagun.

Having the excitement of people wanting to kill you is half the fun (at least from an especially insane Slaanesh follower's perspective)! Besides, it could be worth it. There's the small (probably less than 0.1%) chance that you'll get noticed by Chaos and become a Daemon Prince or somethin' cool. Once yer a Daemon Prince, you just get to party and kill people and stuff.

Unless of course other Daemons, or your Gods, or some especially powerful psykers, or the Grey Knights, or maybe an especially powerful Chaos Champion wants to kill you, in which case you better watch yer back. Plus, even if you have no enemies, you still need to work to escape the Eye of Terror and the Warp, otherwise you'll slowly go mad. Time doesn't flow normally in there. And you also you need to keep the favor of the Daemons that promoted you, since if they feel you aren't a good investment they could mess you up. And of course, in the process of gaining all this power you'll have lost your friends, family and most of all, your humanity. In the end, it'll just be you and your own madness drifting aimlessly in the warp.

1. I would go for Count Beaviz the Awesome. (unfortunately now I sound more like a wrestler than a serious Daemon Prince)

2. I would lead a heretical cult as the lone marine, loads of sacks of humans to throw into the firing lane, and they wouldn't be stupid enough to challenge me.

3. An extra head like Fateweaver so I would have someone to bicker with me if I was bored. Though I want the head atop of my own head so if annoyed I can just jump up and down in a doorway. Unlike my head that head wouldn't wear a helmet.

4. Wargear lets see, I would pack Rosarius, Iron Halo, Terminator Armour, 2X Meltaguns and 2X Power Fists.

5. Can my ultimate motive be to have fun? I'm more than willing to sacrifice millions or billions for that.

1) I suck at names.

4) Fused LCs with plasma pistols attached to the outer side (similar to GK Storm Bolters) fed from backpack by power cables.
