Insect-Infested Nurgle Chaos Lord

Hypnos, a myrmidon of the most exacting construction, is of the creation of Lord Arcanist Ossyan own labors. The lord arcanist has forged an insoluble connection with Hypnos, allowing it to draw energy from Ossyan and become an extension of his abilities. In his presence the myrmidon’s phase gun is imbued with synchronized energy; those struck by it become nonconductive to mystical channeling, thwarting the use of arc nodes as well as the delicate synergy between warbeast and warlock. Once it closes upon an enemy warjack, Hypnos pounds it with fists armed with specially-designed force projectors. Even a glancing blow from these weapons can stagger a warjack as its cortex signals overload, causing it to seize up and become helpless.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Hypnos character heavy myrmidon upgrade kit comes in a blister (PIP 35045). The Hypnos character heavy myrmidon upgrade kit is NOT a complete model. Players will need a Retribution of Scyrah Banshee/Daemon/Sphinx heavy myrmidon kit (PIP 35034) in addition to this kit. A player may field one Hypnos in a Retribution of Scyrah army.

Man. I don't play PP games, but I do take a peek in at the models when I get a chance. I saw the title of this thread and really wanted it to be a voodoo lady Hippo for the pigs and alligators faction.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

Never been much of a fan of the elves, but the more detailed tech is at least more interesting.

I also can't stand the studio scheme: white is difficult to paint, especially over large areas, and doesn't show detail well, meaning it's bad for both average gamers and demonstrating how the model looks.

I go back and forth on the Ret Jacks, but I think I've finally settled on Ugh, No.
What an inelegant collection of blobs.
Really like most of their medium/heavy infantry though.

I'm in the same boat. I really like their infantry models for Retribution, however, just not a real fan of the oversided hermit crabs of the Jacks

The entire retribution line has been a pretty big dissapointment.

It's kind of refreshing to see a thread on PP that isn't full of PP apologists. I like their game, but some of their artistic choices flop.

I personally think this is a by-product of PP's character upgrade kits, which are very hit and miss. I know PP want to cut down on the product codes and shelf space for their stockists etc. But some of the metal upgrade kits just don't do the same job as kits like Drago or Nightmare for example.

Whilst I've said before the Ret Jacks look a lot better in person and with a dark colour scheme too, I'm hoping there' some way to pose Hypnos better, mainly as the Jack is rather good and is required for Ossy's tier list.

meh... still just not feelin the elves... I dunno if it's the bubbley models, or the white paint job, or both, or neither.

I like Retribution models, I have a couple problems with them here and there but I'm okay with them for the most part...the new jacks do look kinda weird, though. I don't really like the asymmetrical look with the new cannon thing mounted on the one shoulder, that's kinda what bothers me the most about them. This one too also looks kinda blobby, as it's been said.

Sadly the new jacks also don't look like they'll be all that poseable, either...my biggest complaint with the other kit, both of my jacks look pretty damn boring (could just be because I suck at assembling and posing models though).
