Use Shrikes chapter tactics to give Calgar and friends fleet and drop pod them in. Infiltrate shrike and termies along with scout squads with added back up with the Ironclad.

Thoughts/Comments welcome

If I were doing Calgar and Shrike, I would do it in a larger point game.
I think that Shrike in the terminator assault squad wates his jump pack.
Also, what wargear do your scout squads have

Basically what Baneguard said. The Calgar squad alone is almost a full third of your list. You will not do well against any army that can throw massive amounts of shots downrange at you, and you will be overwhelmed by any horde army in cc by sheer amount of wounds going out.

What I do have to disagree with Bane on is this: Shrike with a TAS can be pretty nasty, especially since they can run and assault in the same turn. (you have to start 18" away if any enemy unit can draw LoS to you, but you have a threat range of 13" to 18" from deployment alone) It may not be the BEST way to use Shrike's infiltrate, but since Vanguard are so overpriced at the moment it is an choice we are left with.

Bad list all-round. Your Troop choices are paper thin and will not be able to hold any objectives (2/3rds of the games are about that) and there's nothing really scary in that list.

So what if the dudes Drop Pod into the middle of my army, I can shoot at them (it's still only 4 marines and everyone is carrying a melta these days)

Seems very top-heavy. As others have said. That aside, why Calgar if you use Shrike's Chapter Tactics? A) Fleet isn't gonna benefit the Calgar group a whole lot, yet at the same time you are cutting off access to God of War, which is one of the bigger appeals for Calgar in the first place.
