WARNING before looking at the pictures of the "old" land raider: it may cause your eyes to bleed

few weeks ago when i was looking at my land raiders i knew that two of them werent up to my todays painting standards.
so i decided to take it apart,clean it and repaint it.

first the pictures of the old version.
note that the predator turret is just on top because i thought this would make a nice upscaled leman russ for my wolves. too bad the wolves cant use them anymore)

Looks nice, though I think I would've gone with a touch more accent colour on the LR. It has a bit of a 'grey brick' look now.

Love the lights on the Drop Pod ramps. So going to steal that when I get around to doing some pods.

+1 on the drop pod lights. Those look sweet.

The land raider definitely looks better than before.

I actually like the old version, too. The conversion is good. Okay the highlights are indeed a bit too much, but I especially like the brownish patterns.

The new version has better quality highlights methinks, but it does look a bit bland. I think it could use some more colours. Only grey, yellow and weathering just doesn't do it for me.

You could add some runic inscriptions or something on a red band somewhere, for example. That would help breaking up the grey areas a bit.

I think he was referring to the backwards Raider you used as Leman Russ. Read Rediar Dnal backwards .
