Hey guys!

I just finished up the final touches on my Executioner and wanted to show it for u!

I also made some conversions on it. Like those custom made exhaustpipes and the bolter on the turret.

And the only highlights iv'e done is on the black areas of the bolters.. Imo it ruines the tank if I would put highlights on it. And then I must say I like highlights. Just not on this one.

Anyways! here's som pics of it Enjoy!

I also wanna show you 2 pics of the turret that I think sais ALOT of what weathering can do

So for the Guardsman.. Well, I need to work on eyes that's for sure!
not much to say about him.. I'm happy with the base And the paintscheme ofcourse! It's supposed to be urban camo.

Pics!

And finally a goupshot of the tank and a guardsman!

Hope you enjoyed the pics! And as usual, C&C is always welcome! Take care guys!

I like the use of a heavy bolter as a heavy stubber. The gray and red camo is nice too. Well done!

Awesome wheatheriing. What did you use to get that effect? Was it all brush work, stippling, sponge?

That's a cool tank with some great weathering and one helluva surprised guardsman.

Actually I used all of those techniques you mentioned but it's mostly spongework.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

Don't paint eyes on your guardsmen, it's very hard and time consuming.
When you start painting a squad of 10 guardsmen, you will be 20 years older before you even notice

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

LR looks nice, if a little worse for wear.
I concur with sluggaslugga. Do not paint eyes on your guardsmen, just give them a shadow under their brow.
Look at real people, when they're at a distance you hardly see eyes, and you don't see the white until they're very close.
