Which of these two Eldar troop choices are the best? How I usually play them:

5 Pathfinders vs 10 Guardians with EML, Warlock, Embolden

Which of these two setups do you think works best in an Eldar army and why?

Alaitoc Eldar: 5000p

Vampire Counts: 3000p

Death Korps of Krieg: 7000p

World Eaters: 2000p

It depends on your list. Generally, for objective camping, pathfinders, otherwise, the guardian support weapon is really why you would take them, unless you go storm guardians.

Pathfinders are the safest bet normally, between the two.

Pathfinders will live longer provided good cover to hide in by the objective. Guardians could arguable be more useful if you are using anything with Wraithsight or have a dire need for an AT weapon.

If that guardian squad had a scatter laser, then the guardians. Why? Because you can then access a Wave Serpent.

Both choices in general are pretty aweful by themselves though.

Depends on the list entirely; I prefer pathfinders personally (2++ cover is insane) but Guardians are amazing in footbased lists

Pathfinders are nice for objective holders. Fortune them up and CC and temp.et weapons can get them, but other than that they are hard to shift.
