I remember having a lot of fun with Wasteland back in the day, and there are some good people behind it.

Wow! I remember that game. Post Apoc.goodness, Great! Lots of hours playing it. Lots of hours with Bard's Tale too. I would like to play it again.

Nice to see that a lot of the old Fallout team are getting together for this - here's hoping for something that Van Buren always promised to be!

And they are at 867,000 out of 900,000 with 33 days to go, I'm thinking we got this in the bag. And I love that they are sold out of the $10,000 pledges.

It looks like they’ve reached the $900 000 they wanted and there’s still 33 days to go. They are going to have a huge total buy the end of the kickstarter (which means a better game).

I contributed $115 yesterday for the Collectors Edition. I contributed solely for the fact that Bryan Fargo and his team are involved in the development of the game. It’s good to see someone making another strategic turn based RPG as most RPGs nowadays (outside of JRPGs) are shoehorned into a shooter/hack N slash format (to generate extra sales).

As a side note, I suspect the team wanted to do a sequel to Wasteland since Bethesda owns the full rights (both game and MMO) for Fallout. I’m also hoping this game turns out to be something Van Buren promised to be or at the very least is as good as Fallout 2.
