Anyone have a good source for the W&N Series 7 Miniatures? I have looked around but haven't found any seller that doesn't charge almost as much as the brush for shipping. Secret Weapon sells Raphaels which look nice, but I'd like to sample from both lines a bit. I already ordered a Raphael 00 from them with a bunch of other goodies. I am not sure why I ordered a 00 though in all honesty lol. I wish I would have gone with a 0 or a 1.

Thanks!

~Casey

I got mine off Amazon - the price seemed the same if not better than other online art supply companies plus Amazon do free shipping.

I wouldn't bother with the miniatures range of brushes. The watercolour S7's are better - the only difference is the length of bristle (and therefore reservoir capacity). The miniatures have the shorter bristle - you're far more likely to over dip and get paint in the ferrule.

Their price is pretty decent but their seller is charging 6.95 to ship. I also do not see anything eligible for prime shipping. Amazon is the first place I look for anything! I've bought a toothbrush (not an electric one...) from them before with prime shipping lol. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The reason why I am looking into the miniature lines is because I am looking for a brush to edge highlight space marine armor and I figured a smaller length would mean more control. In the past I have had a lot of trouble creating thin lines on minis. I've to this day never used a sable brush though. Only citadels. Thanks for another good lead/tip winterdyne.
