Another 5 man squad done. Sorry about the crappy purple/pink background on the group shot, I need to make up a new backsheet, but my printer's out of ink. Some misbehaviour from the chapter symbol decals, which will need a glaze of the base colour and revarnish here and there. Anyway, pics:

Very nice work. The muted colours work well. I even like the yellow, and thats saying something!

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Epic. Very epic. Lucky guy or girl who is getting them. The flower ties everything together. How did you make the flower and the battle damage?

Is the wrist mounted melta/infernus supplied that way? For some reason that's the only bit that I dislike. It just looks... clumsy.

Your overall work is, as always, outstanding.

The wrist mount melta pistol was in the Sanguinary Guard set.

The battle damage is simple light line / dark line chipping - paint a light line, then paint a dark line immediately above it. Scratches over decals are done with the base colour.

The flower is brass etch from Atenociti's Workshop, with the flower head being model railway ballast superglued to it. Coarse sand would also work.

The leaf litter, the ones that look like crunchy fall leaves...

Are those.. Birch seed pod pieces?

If so, that is officially old school awesome.

Painting is great too, especially like the lettering and gems.

Yeah, birch seed dividers. I buy them pre-dried and dyed from Atenociti's Workshop. I buy a lot of stuff from there. Can't remember which particular colour it is, I think it's the lightest tan one, with a touch of gryphonne sepia to give it some depth.
