I thought I'd share some of what I've been working on recently: Blood Wing Terminators! Enjoy.

Really nice those are, i really like the freehand symbols on them and the blue on the lightning claw.

Your painting is excellent on these guys. That's a really lovely red, and the shading is nice. The lightning claws are also really cool. I have two qualms though. One is the simplest - you need to drill your barrels! It makes those bolters look a lot better. Second is your basing. It's letting down your models as is. The piles of skulls and bones is a good idea, but it should probably be on top of some sand that you glue on first. Right now you can see down to the black base, which doesn't look very good. If you just glued down some sand and hit it up with a simple Graveyard Earth then a Kommando Khaki drybrush it would look great, and make these models really look finished. Great work so far!

Yeah I've thought about drilling the barrels out. I'll probably do that before too much longer.

I liked the way the blue shoulder pads offset the red. I tried it with a few other colors. After all I hate all imperial marines equally , no special hatred for ultramarines. But I found that if I tried making a dead imperial fist or something like that it drew too much attention to the base and away from the fig itself, so I always end up with duller colors. I think I'll do a dead white scar or two next. They think they're good at close combat

Very good work on these termies!

The only point I see which might need a little more work is your bone colour. Perhaps it's because of the camera, but it seems your bone colour is too white for the shadows you've made. I recognise drybrushing here, and it seems your paint was also very thick, which gives a powdery aspect to your white.

Otherwise, great stuff, I love the detail of the world eaters symbol on the leg

These look fantastic. The blue works really well with the red.

I'd say you could wash the bone bases a bit though - they're such a bright white that they pull focus from the model. An older, dirtier bone colour would provide more of a natural 'platform' for the bright red models...
