Ive just joined this site and wanted to share my Worldeaters project.
I dont actually play the games but I love all the background and associated imagery of the 40K universe especially the Chaos side of things. I took a long break from the hobby and only recently started back up again inspired by a few sites like this. Ive been a little lax with hobby time lately but have been working on the Dread again today. No camera at the mo so the old pics will have to do you just now.

First properly painted mini in almost 15 years. I kept this guy quite plain as I wasnt sure how I would handle painting lots of fiddly bits and pieces.

Great conversions! So you're the guy over at Throne of skulls, that I shamelessly stole the idea for my second dread from. I just thought that the defiler head and the pose was such a great idea that I had to do one.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've done a little more work on the dread but nothing really update worthy. Guitarasmus steal away buddy, there's elements on there that I may have 'borrowed' from other people

Some really good conversion work here, a lot of good ideas and a quality of realisation.

I am still working on my WE Ive just been hammered for time lately but I bought myself a Defiler kit and a Land Raider kit last week. Im now on leave from work and have been playing and come up with this so far. :evil1: This is going to take a while to build and its gonna cost a feckin fortune but its something Ive had in my head for a long time. Im hoping when done it wil be quite reminiscent of ED-209 and the old Space Crusade Dread. Nothing is glued yet.

Thanks a lot guys. Like I say the Titan will taka while as I still need to buy another defiler as well as loads of other bits and pieces.
Something else to show you all. Ive been working on my Daemon Prince today. The gs will be smoothed out and there is still a lot to be added but thought I would show some WIP.




And calling it done for tonight. Will look at it again tomorrow and if Im quite happy with it I will start painting.

HOLY ! Those models are awesome ! They just scream: KILL, MAIM, BURN!! FOR KHORNE!!!

Okay I little over reacted, but I really like those models. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread

These models are outstanding! The conversions are really neat, and your painting is well executed, especially how you were able to get such a crisp red

Personally, I would remove the 2 bladey bits off the DPs sword, I find them really extra

Thanks guys. Unfortunatley the GS on the DP's helm wasnt as smooth as I thought it was and shows a bit through the paint but I dont really mind. Ive also noticed a couple of mold lines but Im not going to bother with them its just something Ill have to be extra vigilant for in my next DP build.

Amazing start. I am really loving the face-off thing with the marines, it actually makes them look meaner which is not how I thought that would have gone down. The price is amazing too and the dread. Eager to see more.

Thanks for the support guys. The Princes head is actually scratch built using two Defiler head plates and the jaws of an Ork boy with a bit of green stuff to hold it all together. I've no idea where the horns came from they were in my bits box so were used Again thanks for the positive feedback it helps me push on.

Thanks guys. Base is built and wings are painted. Now to finish off the metals then his sword and finally paint the damn base.
