Does anyone know of, and can direct me to where I might find, (If they are still in exsistance), the most up to date Genestealer cult army list/ rules. What about Rogue trader army list/ rules? Never gave them much , or any thought, but I am curious to see if there are any that apply to 5th edition, or easily translated into it.
Thanks.

I can't link you to the references you're looking for but if you're searching a way to play effectively Stealers there is some nasty combination with Swarmlord, Ymgarls and outflanking goodness.

I found what you did in your " Wonky" search, but not on the first link.
Thanks for the effort.

I'd be very interested in doing up a Modern Rogue trader list of 2000 pts or less, just for the modeling aspect of it all. My buddy wants to do a Gene Stealer cult to buff his ever growing Tyranid Hive and to tie a campain he is working on into our groups assorted armues and sub plots, (Also why I want to do a Rogue Trader.)

If anyone else is able to help, even if they are older generation lists, please feel free to reply and post them here.
Maybe its time to update them here as well.

Cheers to Pretre , and thanks for your help.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for.

Are you looking for a previous edition codex that still works with 5th or a fandex designed for 5th?

Most folks who still play GS Cult use the current IG or Tyranids to represent it.

For my rogue trader list i use the IG dex Eg. company commander is the rogue trader with his bodyguards and what, and then i use veterans as hired guns and sometime penal legion guys. then i use just other bits and pieces from the army like squats and what not.

Thanks, I'll let my buddy in on that train of thought. I just saw some of the older models and wondered if there was , as you put it , a 5th Ed fandex.

- ironhandstraken[/quote And that is what I suspected I would end up doing for mine. I just kind of wanted to diversify with some extra Xenos -race characters besides Ogryn and Rattling, (IE-a Kroot, a Dark Eldar exile, things along those lines). I know what it is I want to put together, and my Club says no problem play testing, I just firured I'd check and see if anything was already out there that I could refrence from.

I play my Stealer Cult as a tyranid army. Some clever modding/proxy required but so far all my random opponents has been enthusiastic. It helps to have an armylist with proper descriptions.

older "civilians" in the form of frateris militia, necromunda etc as termagants. (IG as gaunts with upgraded weapons)
Rhino (painted as an arbites rhino with obvious purple freedom-grafitti on them) as tervigon
stealers (duh)
3rd + 4th gen hybrid H-w-teams as hiveguards
Magus with acolytes as zoanthropes
Patriarch on throne, modded to be carried by gimps on a dais as a HT
Patriarch on foot as broodlord
teams of hybrids with riotshields as hiveguards
Crazy scientist hybrid with steampunk style poisongun as venomthrope

It makes for a pretty decent (but not tournament-worthy) horde-army. Even though I regularly loose to players younger than my models :-)

Under construction/planning:
Leman Russ (also obviously liberated from the imperial opressors) as tyrannofex
IG mortar teams as biovores
Suicide bombers as sporemines
Hades Breaching drill from forgeworld to be modded into a tervigon/mawlock equivalent
infantry with dragonfly-wings as gargoyles
roughriders as hormagaunts
I'm looking for the 54mm genestealermodel that was cast for Inquisitor. I want to use it as a carnifex.

It's a project of love that I have far too little time and no room at all for right now. I have some old pics in this thread:
