That will change what you'd take (and what you can legally field in a game).

A land speeder is a good problem solver, give it a multimelta/flamer combo.

Terminators might be a fun addition, deciding how you want to field them will be decisive in how you equip them.

I'm personally a big fan of the whirlwind, due to the amount of time RandyMcStab has beaten the snot out of me and several other players using one. Parking it behind cover and then letting it drop pie plates on stuff is great and it's dirt cheap pointswise. Other folks favor the vindicator, which is a great vehicle, but I get bored of seeing them tbh.

Also consider troop transports, at the moment and 5th edition in general, the razorback and rhino are highly useful.

I think yo should drop the assault squad(they are just not that useful in Ultramarine codex ( most of the time you will be shoot from a distance of 24 inch or be meat by a terminator squad they die ether way, this is my experience and and it can be challenged by people who had better luck with them) and instead grab one more tactical squad of 10 people (Melta gun and multi-melta) and don't forget transport for all of your tac squads. Then Terminators could be a good investment for later on then maybe scouts (make good snipers and can really annoy some of your enemies. Later you should get some las cannons, but it all depends on what point value you want to stop.

Welcome to space marines.
I would definitely get another tactical squad. If you do increase the size of the assault squad, add a chaplain.
Techmarines from my experience only work well in really vehicle heavy armies, or in armies with scouts with camo cloaks.

I'd advise keeping the Assault Squad smaller; they tend to be horribly expensive for what they can do. Librarians are always useful.

My Tactical Marines and Devastators are usually the game-winners in my Dark Angels army, the Deathwing and Ravenwing units tend to serve as fire magnets first. Make sure to give them a broader selection of heavy weapons if you go this route, though; the Devastator box has more than enough parts to make a lot of heavy weapons if given more bodies. At 2,000pts, I tend to use four Tactical Squads with two lascannons and two plasma cannons, a five-man Devastator squad with four heavy bolters, and a five-man Devastator squad with four missile launchers.

Techmarines are most useful if you've got a vehicle parking lot somewhere, if you really want one you should have some long-ranged vehicles for him to repair. Predators, Whirlwinds, and the Land Raider Helios if you've got access to Forge World rules are decent choices.

That devastator squad suggestion works well in conjunction with a combat squad pack from GW. I bought 1 of each and was able to build 2 5 man devastator squads for a fair price.

Alright, thanks guys, more Tactical Squads, possibly Devastators, and combat squads. Anything else? Other than Rhinos, Razorbacks, or Drop Pods... I can't afford those...

A tactical squad! Not quite sure how much it costs over there though since prices over there are about half of ours.

If you want to play marines, get at(least) 4 full 10 man tactical squads.

Most good lists operate around that as a minimum.

Did you buy them second hand, off an independent retailer or in a games-workshop/ off the g-w site.

If you can't afford a drop pod but can afford another tac box, save up for the drop pod/tac squad combo box

Yeah, so I would call G-W directly and ask for replacement bases.

I'd put meltas on any squads, since, melta guns are the way to an enemy tanks heart.

Literally.
